Re: Don't be late Sunday

No time change here yet....
5 miles in 40 minutes. On par with what I used to run and way, way faster than anything I've been doing down here. I was running in the middle of a 10k race on the same street, must have been that. :)

Re: Bike Commute Thursday

Nearly time to leave PV and head back to Canada. Really cold the last two days, snow in some parts of Jalisco where they've never seen it before. Before that it was unseasonably warm though. Perfect time to leave!

2 mile tempo run today.

Re: Sunglasses Tuesday

5 miles easy, still nursing my right calf which pulled hard at the end. Kind of a sunrise run for me too as the sun doesn't make it up over the mountains until about 8:15 here :)

Tis Tuesday

Had a week off because a friend was visiting Vallarta and we were doing tour-duty. We did do a lot of walking including one accidental jungle hike where we took a wrong turn on the way to a waterfall and ended trekking about an hour straight up a mountain in the jungle. 2 miles today on the municipa...

Wake up Wednesday

24 C and 89% humidity here in Vallarta. I'm heading out shortly to do a couple of miles on the rubberized municipal track nearby. Last time I ran on a track was on the 800m one in Kingston for the Sri Chinmoy 6 hour in 2008!!

Happy Wednesday maniacs

Doing a lot of tempo work, since I can't really hog a treadmill for the duration of a long run. 5 miles in 42 minutes felt great. I can't wait for spring and my first honest to goodness long run!
