Lookin Good!

Hi all...I see it's been 3 -ish years since I posted on here. I still follow and see some of you guys via Facebook, and although I'm not on here much, I just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration! I've been off running for awhile but thinking of re starting with a c to 5k program....ahhhh running...

10k done this morning.....reading on the deck soon after. was another beautiful day

beautiful day it was here today, but instead of taking advantage of it, i took a spin class and a weight lifting class inside lol.....but i recovered on my deck with a good book.

a hard 11k for me this eve after a long and busy 12 work day.

6.5 k done this morning.....started out as a.....meh i will just run 20 min....and ended much better, gotta love random easy runs like that.

day off work, nothing much to do..... except un-fun stuff like house work lol

spin class today.....really nice out today but still tons of snow here cant wait until i can get back on my favourite trail!

5k on my schedule today..... looking forward to it!

No running for me today, might still get a workout in though.

30 min easy run done hehe.....love sayin that.

Getting my hair done and shopping...gotta love a day off in the middle of the week.

I, too have not been here for awhile, but had to check in, once a maniac always a maniac. Glad to hear all the runners are ok, i'm so angry and sad and shocked and.....well....speechless.

I just dont get it.

a circuit workout at the gym this morning, then a nap....working nights tonight....sigh, not my favourite shift.

brutal workout yesterday....feelin it today. undecided what i shall do. easy run either outside or on the 'mill.

love the chapter where she describes the 'wet suit' experience. lol

recommend this book for sure, even for experienced triathletes.....its an enjoyable read.

What does band work entail?

How does one prepare for that? I swam 1.5 k as part of a team triathlon, did it last year in much better conditions and wanted to beat my time this year, but the weather gods were against me and the whitecaps and waves made things very difficult. I'm wondering, if I'm silly enough to agree to do it ...

Yeah for the longest time I was the only maniac in sask. I know that's changed though. I live about an hour north of Saskatoon, in prince Albert. There's a large running/tri community here but no tri shops per say. Saskatoon is probably the closest. Might have to make a trip there for some shopping ;)

I hope I find what I need/want too, one thing I've learned for sure though is that the worst possible thing for my self esteem is shopping online for a wetsuit lol!
