Re: NCM Weekend - what is up?

Booked it - Friday to Monday. I'm excited to come to Ottawa! Have fun! I'm going in the opposite direction for the weekend as both my teams got into CTRR. Another time.... Re: Shuffle - new ones?

I have 3 original pair of shuffle headphones in my house. You can have a pair (or all ) of them if you wish. I don't like them and bought others for me and J.

I am now teaching in my neighbourhood, so I must provide treats on the night. However, I've had a brainstorm. This year, I am giving out all the candy I DON'T LIKE...

I'm willing to commit. I *may* have 2 other runners interested from school. Will check tomorrow if they can commit too and get back here with the info asap.

I hope we can make this work.

Hey Jacqui, you can try Soles in Motion in Burnside (the strip mall across from Staples). They had the stick at the Bluenose expo sometime.

Unfortunately, when cooking for one, I usually eat cereal. Don't think you want that. However, I'll shop with you! I love small kitchen appliances.

There's a gazebo/bandstand in the park where they post the results. It's an easy place to find. I have no idea what I'll be wearing--but I'll probably be with Angela.

I don't ever remember seeing pace bunnies--but I've always run the 10k. What's your goal time?

Also, I've found with the 10k at least, that the km markers are off quite a bit so if you're planning on using them as a pace mark, be aware.

So, do the maniacs want to meet up in NG? I'll only be arriving the morning of the race, but will have time after I finish the 10k to cheer on the half runners (and any full that are out there)

I've registered for the 10k, but am playing with the idea of switching to the 1/2--it's not too hard to switch distances there is it? I just have to wait and see how my ITB fares at CTRR.
