Re: Lazy THURSDAY

Started the day with an easy 8.6K, 5.6K on trails (two loops of Old Quarry Trail). First run in my new La Sportiva Crosslites - great shoe. Came close to four deer including two fawns with their spots. A beautiful morning. 8)

Re: Tango Tuesday

The weather cleared out so nicely yesterday evening I thought this morning would be nice clear air. No such luck, muggy and overcast.

Anyway, 15K done at a steady pace.

A 22km bike commute this morning. The heat wasn't too bad but going home may be a different story. :(

Wow! Way to tough out! It's amazing how fast the heat can sap it out of you. Good job getting it done.

Andy, the 10K starts at 8:00 am and the 5K at 8:45 am. If you run a fast 10K, you've got time to run both events.

A good run for sure. It's too bad about the course, but the kids can still be proud of their dad. 8)

Re: What would you do?

If I was sure about the route, I wouldn't cut the course.

I'm really only racing against the clock anyway. Sure other racers help push me, but I don't care enough about age group awards to worry about what place I come in. The time for the certified distance, that's what I care about.
