Morning all...First morning run in a long time. 10 miles out to the Royal Botanical gardens and back. The air was heavy and buggy down by Valley Inn on the Bay route. Feels nice to be done for the day.

If it is a cool morning. One in each cotton glove usually works for me.

Difficult to pick. Both winning results from last year were soft. I think the soft results might draw extra attention from speedsters outside running mania. A day off work today. Our school smelled stinky and we were given the day off because of a sewage back up. Long and fun run in the spring sunshine with Pascal.

Unfortunately I have to cancel this race. It is the responsible thing to do. I wish everyone good luck and a fun weekend. I'll make it out to this one soon enough. I hope. It is looking like a year of local races so far.

If your feeling good and in shape race it. Just be conservative like Rob said. If you feel like you have some more work to do adjust and use it as a workout. I think you can learn more from a race than workout. A fast Bay race can set the tone for a great season. Plenty of time to recover.

I don't have a problem with colour or tech shirts. What I find dissapointing is the lack of original design that distinguishes the shirt and the race from other years. The same atb crest and the same older than Boston on a flashier colour shirt seems kind of cheap.

Last night I heard the Bay shirts are a bright cherry red. Sounds dissapointing but I'll have to see the shirt first. What ever happened to good graphic design and screen printing on a tasteful simple white shirt?
