Looking for cheap votes

Hello I haven't posted here for a long time but thought I'd post because I needed some help. I'm looking for votes in a cbc healthy me week picture contest. My name is Kyle and the picture is 10 x 800. You can see my son has grown since I used to post here. I'm trying to win a free Y membership. Her...

I was up this morning with a similar workout. 10 easy with 10 hill sprints.
Too cold for shorts. I'll have to check out the Mississauga reports today.
Have a great one all.

Morning all...First morning run in a long time. 10 miles out to the Royal Botanical gardens and back. The air was heavy and buggy down by Valley Inn on the Bay route. Feels nice to be done for the day.

Magoo takes Waterloo

Yesterday was my second Waterloo Marathon and my first ever overall win. I was apprehensive about this race midweek because I’ve been mainly jogging easy at night since the Bay race and I had been adjusting to work after my parental leave. Despite my fears I showed up because I had made the commitme...

Great race Rob! Your family were the life of the course. Great job sticking to your time goal on a rough course and day.

Difficult to pick. Both winning results from last year were soft. I think the soft results might draw extra attention from speedsters outside running mania. I'm running the Waterloo Marathon as well but I wouldn't offset Robbie's chance at winning. I think someone like Terry Gehl who won it two year...

A day off work today. Our school smelled stinky and we were given the day off because of a sewage back up. Long and fun run in the spring sunshine with Pascal.

Unfortunately I have to cancel this race. It is the responsible thing to do. I wish everyone good luck and a fun weekend. I'll make it out to this one soon enough. I hope. It is looking like a year of local races so far.

Great job everyone. Magoo, so much for running for fun!!! I managed with the help of some Advil to get my knee through the race, 2:24 in the end. Thanks It was all fun except for the last 300 metres of valley inn. Too bad I missed you. Sorry to hear the knee is still a problem. I had a busy afterno...

Congratulations. A great result no matter how you look at it. Way to keep a steady pace throughout adverse conditions. My two best marathon times were in late fall races. I would think it would be tough to hit a top time this early in the year. I hope you get to sleep in a few mornings now. You have...

If your feeling good and in shape race it. Just be conservative like Rob said. If you feel like you have some more work to do adjust and use it as a workout. I think you can learn more from a race than workout. A fast Bay race can set the tone for a great season. Plenty of time to recover.

I would buy one now and not wait if you hate the ipod headphones (which honestly does anyone like them?) I do! The only time I have a problem with them (or any earbuds for that matter) is if I sweat a lot and my ears fill with sweat. my ears are too small - they hurt me. do you want my pairs that c...

I don't have a problem with colour or tech shirts. What I find dissapointing is the lack of original design that distinguishes the shirt and the race from other years. The same atb crest and the same older than Boston on a flashier colour shirt seems kind of cheap.

Last night I heard the Bay shirts are a bright cherry red. Sounds dissapointing but I'll have to see the shirt first. What ever happened to good graphic design and screen printing on a tasteful simple white shirt?

Motivational for me for sure. When I was really far from the times, I just didn't care about Boston, so it wasn't discouraging at all. Now that I'm (hopefully) one good training cycle away from the time I need, it's a fun thing to shoot for. I'm not even all that interested in the race. I'd just li...

It is really warming up out there. Took the baby monitor out on the porch and swept up all of the fossils from the former curbside icebank in front of the house. Then got some rags and cleaned the salt off the baby jogger. I've been waiting a while for a day like this. Going for a long and easy fun ...

Kind of like a 'running shopping mall experience'. I suppose that's why I'm happy to hang out on the trails. It is more of a international runners convention than a shopping mall experience. Full of people that could only meet on that course. Trail races are great but seem to be filled with the sam...
