Run in what works for you. What anyone else chooses to wear is none of your business.

Run without a chip or tell the timer to remove your info as soon as you cross the finish-line.

Re: How do you feel about public race results

i ran ATB with my bib on but without my chip this year because i didn't want my results posted online. i would love it if they had an option to "opt in" to the posting. it's funny to me that they have the option not to post your name when you register for a race, but not for the results. ...

Welcome to RunningMania. It sounds like you're off to a good start. At this point, I'd worry more about gradually building up your distance/endurance. You will get faster as you become more fit. It's very easy to overdo it by trying to improve everything all at once and too quickly. If you're headed...

Re: New runners needed post-baby

When I worked at the RR, I always warned pregnant women that their feet would get larger and, in most cases, stay that way. Occasionally, one would say her feet were back to the pre-pregnancy size, but that was rare. The increase was usually 1/2 to a full size. One woman with tiny feet was looking f...

Based on your photos, I don't understand why the camera on the Moto X has been panned in most reviews. They're beautiful.

It's already 15°C here at 8:30 a.m., but we're to get 2-4 cm of snow tomorrow.

Re: Any point in buying metatarsal inserts?

Here's the one I use. I've shown it to many people with either wide feet or a high instep and most like it. It's also a good one to use if your shoes have short laces, because you wind up with more lace to tie your knot.

Never mind. I know what you meant- It's not really ok to lump a disability together with a choice to do without technology- they have nothing to do with each other. Lighten up people, you're taking this little thread far too seriously... Scott, what are you saying? That's never been known to happen...

Re: Dyslexic luddites of the world, untie !

I don't understand what dyslexia has to do with being a luddite. Re-read the title...slowly. I got the untie/unite reference. That has nothing to do with being anti-technology. No that's the luddite part. I think the luddites were the people who threw their wooden shoes, or "sabots" into ...
