Hello AlfiefromPickering - I was up that way yesterday (first time in that neck of the woods) - Mapquest did a good job of getting me around. I am sure the race organizers cannot advertise/suggest parking on private property- the bowling alley and Leon's parking across the street looks very tempting...

Donald - to change your (own natural) foot strike position. Start a series of drills at home - running/stepping fast in place on the balls of your feet plus some "A"s a step, lift knee up and then extend foot forward to land onthe ball.
