I'm in again for 2017 but just trying to figure out the distance...pretty sure it won't be the 12 hour though

Good luck. I found the pounding from the hard surface difficult after a couple hours last time out at York.

Re: MEC Race Series

Super great deal eta- the half distance for race 6 does not qualify for this offer, so there is only one half option for race 4 I'm in for the 10Ks for races 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7. The MEC events are awesome- I love the small races. I'll be passing through south British Columbia and plan to do the Satu...

Re: Marathon Back Quarter Improvement

No tricks... All I can come up with is: (1) Mileage - the accumulation of steps, no matter how slow and no matter how spread out over the week, will make your legs more resistant to fatigue in the later stages of marathons. (2) Patience - endurance adaptations take place over months and years, not ...

Re: Garmin forerunner 10

Good luck with Garmin support, Gimp. No similar issues here with my 25 though I do not use Garmin Connect - I have always found it a bit crappy and I have my Strava and Connect accounts linked so I can immediately look in Strava once a post-run synch is complete.

Re: Garmin forerunner 10

225 also has a built-in optical HRM which I would really like. I'm waiting for Garmin to put that into a triathlon watch and I'll get that. The 25 is a bit too basic for me but I can see it meeting the needs of a lot of people who want to step up from a smartphone app. ...or who don't need all thos...

Re: Garmin forerunner 10

The Forerunner 25 is out. Addresses all the 10 and 15 flaws. Better band design. 10 hour battery. Waterproof. Bluetooth connection gets rid of all the cradle/cord activity retrieval, it happens with Bluetooth. 2-way process - all the popup notifications on your Smartphone go to your FR 25. Recommen...

Re: Forerunner 210--replaced with 10 (report)

I have a 110 with a HRM strap. It's pretty good for my basic wants, but it has a very annoying, widespread, problem : my computer won't recognize it unless I plug/unplug it 5 or 6 times. Frustrating.... I had this problem with the Forerunner 10. Its replacement, the Forerunner 25, had Bluetooth pai...

Re: Garmin forerunner 10

...I've been very careful not to put stress on the band when taking off and putting on the watch. If I see that the plastic holding the band is starting to wear out, I'll probably reinforce it with Goop (my favourite adhesive). Good call on the stress. I realized as soon as it broke apart what did ...

I did a search and didn't see this discussed before so excuse me if it has been. Earlier this month Garmin announced they would be selling a GPS watch that also has some Activity Tracking functionality. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2457461,00.asp?mailingID=76182DA1E028C815354DB24CD336F131" ...

CBI is terrific. Great value too.

Don't picture a dirty little shop. If you go on a Saturday, it is Wal-Mart busy.
