Lesson Learned - Mississauga Race Report

As some of you who have read my thread in the training forum, I was heading into this race with a sinus infection. On Friday and into Saturday I was still very iffy whether to run or not. Sunday morning came around, I was pretty congested but decided to go for it. It was a mistake! First 15k were ok...

I am actually feeling a lot better this morning. Had a 9 hour sleep last night!

I went to the expo which is down the street from my house and it made me itch to get out there and run.

We'll see what happens!

Still feel miserable. I'm literally 50/50 on it right now. You guys are making me lean towards not running it though. London is always an option..

Ive gone through a dozen pairs of the reebok kfs control. I love them. They are great for more moderate pronation, and are based on the same shoe as the kfs stability. I used to wear the stability but moved on to the control at the advice of a gait analysis. Shoes are comfortable and not overly heav...

I tried running today just to see how it would be. I didnt ...

Days always switch for me.. For instance I had 32k scheduled for this weekend, but I ended up doing no running so I'm doing my normal run tomorrow and the long run on Tuesday. Throws things off a bit but its better than not doing it at all.

I know you are a quicker runner than the time dictates!

ATB - Grim Reaper was too much!

Was experiencing some knee pain and an unusual pain at the top of my foot where the bone connecting my big toe to my foot was. Thankfully neither of those 2 bothered me too much today. I got to the Hamilton at 8:45 found parking but neglected to bring change with me  I had to run around and fi...

I wo...
