Re: Garmin Training Center Issues

Big thanks to Mid_Packer

I did what you suggested and the data is saving now. It must have been a Windows update because things were great until just after Christmas. Thanks again.

Grrrr to Vista. My son runs Windows 7 and loves it

Garmin Training Center Issues

It appears that my Garmin Training Center won't save my 2010 data. It will download the data from my 205 and I can work with it but if I close and re-open it the data is gone. I have tried to up-date but it doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions?

Google Maps Street View Captures another Maniac

I can't quite remember the day but I was running just north and east of Woodstock one day early last summer when I saw this car go down the road with a strange set of cameras on top and I think I saw the Google logo somewhere. Any way today I looked on Google Maps and Street View is available for mo...

I also voted 25%. I looked over last years data and I ran 22 times on the TM from Dec - Feb. Can't say I like it but out in the dark and cold is just not fun some nights.

Lx2run Road-to-Hope

So this was only my 3rd race of the year and the first marathon since Scotia Bank last year. After ATB I basically didn’t run all of April. Ran a mediocre ½ trail race in June and then July wasn’t that great either for running either but I had planned to run this race since last year so I took up th...

I kept you in my sights (green shell easy to spot) through the race and was worried when I finally caught up to you around 28K when you slowed considerably. Good to see you finished it standing up after a tough ending. See you at That Dam Trail Race

A fellow runner .. RIP

While this gentleman was not a maniac he was an avid runner, one that I had the pleasure to see race on a number of occasions. I ran the trail he was found on and, at this time of year, it would be very colourful. Not a bad place to go. Guys (and ladies) like this always give me hope that I will be ...

Very cool

Thanks Ron for getting the word out.

Perhaps next year there will be a few more maniacs for Tracy to cheer for. I don't think tame Woodstock knew what hit them Saturday morning. Of course you would think they know what a cow bell sounds like.
