I just spent a few weeks in Switzerland but nothing in Lugano. Check for a Hashhouse. Despite not joining them for any runs, when I pinged the group they responded in typical Swiss fashion, which is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Inov-8 Terrafly, didn't think I'd like then nearly as much as I do. 6m drop, light weight, and a decent bit of traction on trails. Very well put together shoe. Just got a 2nd pair as back-up Sunday, and plan to start Vermont with them.

10k at a moderately slow pace. Better than the 20k on schedule.

This report comes back to the sign I keep seeing...if it was easy everyone would be running these. I'm way more impressed when someone puts their head down and says to hell with quitting I'll will my way to the finish crawling on all fours vs those who have no trials/tribulations during a run. Ottawa Marathon Race Report: I had been in Orlando all week returning home Thursday night late. I slept well Thursday but had a horrible 2 nights sleep leading into the race.
