I'm in for the half. Not sure if it will be a training run or a race. Loved the course last year. I had no problem with the bus back to the start. Only gripe is the bike path near the finish but that wasn't all that bad.

I guess it's my least fav run, the long run I have to work on.

Pretty impressive training run! I saw someone running with one of those packs in a race earlier in the year and was wondering what it was all about. Great report.

2008 was the year to BQ. Missed that goal by 8 minutes, so the year has that stigma of failure about it. The upside to all the marathon training though were PB's in 10k, 10mi and the Half. Speed seems to be there, I guess it's the endurance I have to work on in 2009.

Congrats on giving back to the running community, I hope you enjoy it. I used to live in that neck of the woods but I'm back in Milton now. I'll try to make it out for a Sunday long run.

Wow, you leave a thread for a few days....2:15!!!! Pretty thin air up there! Had I BQ'd this year I'd take a shot at it but I'm thinking marathon pace training run.... 2:30ish. Ottawa is the A race this spring. Although I do have this tendancy to get caught up in the moment.....
