Re: Anyone have a current "Team Estrogen" coupon?
I will send in my order and I don't' have any aerobic-hockey-watching on my schedule. It's golfing season here (again).
Thanks anyway. If I get a coupon code after ordering, I'll post it.

Re: Binbrook Sprint triathlon
Hey I wondered if any Maniacs were doing Binbrook because I was on the Ride to Conquer Cancer event and we shared the road for a short distance with the Binbrook event. I actually saved a guy that turned with the Tour crowd instead of going straight with the triathlon crowd. (I almost killed myself ...

Re: Saddle Sore....OUCH!
Ok...I've been to 2 bikes stores and they only carry Chamois Butt'r. I may just buy this stuff if I can't locate the Assos. or go to Lee Valley and by Bag Balm. I'm going to stay off the bike for an extra day to see I can heal things. I can't afford for it to get worse and keep me off the bike. I ha...

Re: Saddle Sore....OUCH!
Chamois cream for prevention (get it from your LBS). Diaper rash cream for a cure. I don't cycle but this sounds like good advice. I just bought some Chamois Butt'r (brand name) from a LBS to give to a friend who's training for his first IM. LBS guy told me it's very good and popular (not cheap tho...

Saddle Sore....OUCH!
Hi guys,
I've never had a saddle sore before but I developed one riding in the rain this weekend. So, how do I get rid of it?
Any product recommendations for treatment &/or prevention?
It hurts like the dickens!

Re: Riding in wind. 40 km/hr & gusts of 50km/hr
Thanks guys! I'll curse the wind, keep my whits about me and slow down. :D I certainly didn't enjoy my ride yesterday but the weather today is lovely so I made up for it with a 3 hour ride. It was a great ride. You know those rides where you feel really strong and could go forever? Yup, I had one of...

Riding in wind. 40 km/hr & gusts of 50km/hr
Hi guys, I'm looking for some helpful hints on riding in very windy conditions especially "wind guts". I went out today and the wind was NW 39 km/hr. So, my plan was to do a short ride east with some hills and then come home with a bit of a tailwind . Well, it was very windy and the crossw...

Minden 150 Bike Tour (40km & 70km option)
Hey Maniacs, Anyone interested in doing this event this year? http://www.minden150.ca/ Last year was the first year of this event and I did the 70km route. Lots of rolling hills but a beautiful place to ride. I'm planning to do it again this year and I think I'll do the 70km route again. Any other T...

Re: Taking a break
When I was out running this morning, I realized that my reactions to stress or life might be just about opposite of this thread. When some people need a break, they stop exercise and enjoy other things. When I need a break, I stop all the other things and exercise more. But this is because society ...
