Leap Day Monday
Almost noon and no thread yet.... maybe Leap Day doesn't even exist.. ;0))) VERY cold today ( -28/-34 wind chill). I completely overdressed for my ride to work and showed up sweaty mess. I wish I could resolve my glasses fogging up during my ride... Last day of the Wellness Walking Challenge...

Re: What's for dinner?

We found the dressing in a bottle while we were out there but ran out quickly so I made it myself last night. I think I like my homem...

Natural News is the WORST site for real intonation . oy- that's what I get for posting early and on my iphone-- silly autocorrect. Anyway-- I wouldn't trust anything on "Natural News." Other research has shown that often people's sleeplessness is caused or aggravated by muscle tensi...

Re: Lower incidence of diabetes in "Walkable" neighbourhoods
My neighbourhood scores a 72 on walkability, 71 on transit... When we first moved there I was amazed at the number of people I saw walking to work every day. The bus stops are always lined up too. There's a bus route that connects the neighbourhood to the downtown transit corridor&rapid transit ...

If I am doing an extended period of time (cycling, running, adventure racing) I will often take baked potatoes...I find they sit in my stomach better than gels do because they aren't sweet.

Re: Ganglion Cyst - Foot
I had one on my wrist - it's gone now, took a little while (weeks, not months). I think they used to call these "Bible Bump" or something like that because they would sometimes try to get rid of them by bashing them with a large, hardcover book (bible in most households). Yes exactly...th...

At a recent massage therapy appointment my MT was preparing to work on my Achilles Tendon - it's been an ongoing pain for me and after a three year hiatus it's back..or so I thought. When she went to work on it she stopped and said that she didn't think it was the tendon that was giving me grief...S...
