Coming to Ottawa on the 25th but since I will be Week 5 on the C25K plan by then, I suspect you guys will leave me in the dust!

Re: Bike Racks?

This thread IS timely. I am looking at racks that fit on spare tires (I have a Jeep Wrangler Sport. His name is Ernie Mangoes). I am a bit leery about the ones that just connect through the tire, they get mixed reviews... Anyone have an opinion?

I love mine, but the bread never lasts very long (bunch of carb-lovers)! I do lower the sugar and usually use honey and it still works out just fine :)

Re: David's Tea 2014 Advent Calendar Discussion

I disliked that one last time it was in the calendar. I'm not even brewing it this year! Yuck! Me either! Me three! Okay, I was kind of dreading yesterday's tea - we nicknamed it "Vomit Tea" and consider it the Bertie Bott's of the David's Tea Advent Calendar . Today's smells good....

Re: David's Tea 2014 Advent Calendar Discussion

It took some serious effort to get into that oolong, and then I wasn't excited about it. I'll put it aside. Darby and I play a guessing game everytime we take one out, we have to guess, based on the look and smell, which one it is from the list on the back. Neither of us guessed the Oolong correctly...

Re: Wind down Wednesday

Actually dragged my lazy butt out of bed this morning - I am pretty proud of myself. Planning Hot Yoga at lunch except am in a holding pattern - Darby tripped in gym and fell on her arm. She said it hurts, but not as bad as it did when it first happened, so she will let me know if it gets worse.

Re: Ganglion Cyst - Foot

I had one on my wrist - it's gone now, took a little while (weeks, not months).

I think they used to call these "Bible Bump" or something like that because they would sometimes try to get rid of them by bashing them with a large, hardcover book (bible in most households).

Just got an email from my hotel POC out there asking if I wanted a block of rooms. I'm going to say yes - there are always people needing rooms, so they are easy to get rid of...and who knows??

Re: Sports Drinks - useless or worse? (TV alert: Marketplace

I really don't use a lot of sports drinks when I am running/cycling, although if it's a really hot day, I'll bring one bottle with Ultima in it. Generally I have low/normal blood pressure and am prone to migraines. I know sometimes a gatorade can help with the pain/dehydration that comes with a migr...

That's where it gets complicated! We move from this house on 3 Jan. Can you hold it until I get to Alberta? :)
