Totally unimpressive. Eric you should retire now and focus on what you are good at. Like Risk and Axis & Allies. Don't fool yourself by thinking otherwise.

Héhé... Great job, Eric! Keep up the good work! :D

I was on my lsd run and these two lovely ladies said hi to me before their race. I wasn't wearing contacts or glasses so I didn't recognize them until they passed me in the opposite direction. Great pics, you guys are looking great! :D

I'm in the same boat. I'm 29 this year and I turn 30 on December 31. THEREFORE I'm in the 30-34 or 30-39 age groups for this entire year. 25-29 was such a smaller group in terms of participants..

Thanks, everyone! We'll be checking out Superstore and MidEast foods soon. Interestingly, the article lists halloumi cheese as a product of Cypress but I'm sure there are many close variations from other countries.

Mmmm cheeeseeee....

I also hate the age grouper term.

I'd be insulted if I was forced to be tested for banned substances. Sure I may look slow but do you really have to rub it in?

Halloumi cheese

Where can I find some in the Ottawa or Vancouver region? It's a firm cheese that can be seared or grilled without melting. We've found some great cheese kebab recipes that we'd like to try as soon as the snow melts.

Looky here: http://www.the-picnic-site.com/halloumi.html

Thanks!

I don't know about Gatineau but Ottawa has a bike coop: http://www.re-cycles.ca/
It's a great place. I've volunteered there in the past as a mechanic.

Oh I remember that picture now. I must reiterate that your commuter bag is lovely.

That bike looks worthy of a new chain or at least a cleaning/relube. What are you reasons for changing the crank and cassette?

Re: Rebuilding a bike

Is this just nuts? No. It sounds like fun. Should I buy a book? If you plan to continuously do work on your bikes, yes. If not, try the library. Anyone have any websites to recommend? Other than sheldonbrown, I recommend the Park Tool website (http://www.parktool.com/). You can also post questions ...

Now that winter's almost over, I'm curious to see if people have been maintaining their increased vitamin D intake. The Canadian Cancer Society still recommends 1000 IU. Health Canada still recommends 400 IU. Up until December I was taking a multivitamin (400 IU of vitamin D) and 1-3 cups of milk pe...
