Mudnewton Mudrun 10 Km Challenge in Uxbridge

I wasn't going to race today but considering that today September 3rd is my 49th birthday I decided to do it. Now I know that I have turned 49 before Andy HCcD. He's still 48. This was the first year this race was taking place. The organizers were using the logo of "MUDNEWTON ONTARIO'S NEWEST M...

Re: No-Tornado Thursday

No tornados in Pickering either. This afternoon I lifted weights (body building training) for 40 minutes and then I ran a slow 5 Km on the treadmill in 25 minutes and 11 seconds.

I ran this afternoon for the first time after Saturday's 30 Km A Mid Summer Night`s Run. I only ran 5 Km on the treadmill, but I did it a bit fast in 21 minutes and 23 seconds.

A Mid Summer Nights Run 30 km, I finished without puking

I started my day by going to eat lunch at the Danforth with me friend. She suggested sushi because it would be a light meal on my stomach. This combination was not exactly the best decision for the race. From the very beginning I had reflux (a.k.a. throwing up or puking sensation) all the way to the...

Re: Midsummer night's run

As the No. 1 procrastinator, I just registered the very last day August 15, 2011 for the 30 Km. I am so out shape now as I have not been doing any long distance races since May, but I am lucky I don't have to watch Blue Rodeo like Q.C. I went to see FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE THE 35 TOUR at the Molson Amp...

Re: Kyle's Run (10k trail)

Hey I ran this 10 Km last Sunday. The trail course was amazing and it was marked with pristine care (despite the vandalizing). My time wasn't that good though: 55 minutes and 19 seconds.
