Re: Vasectomy

Don't offer to pitch for a slow-pitch baseball game. Thirty years ago one of my brother's friends showed up for a game a couple of days after having a vasectomy and wasn't going to play. However, he volunteered to pitch, 'cuz he didn't have to do anything other than lob the ball. First batter... my ...

So-o-o-o-o-o much more comfortable running today; both cooler and dryer. Then I made a mistake by changing my route home. Wound up having to pass "Patisserie La Cigogne".

Yeah, I guess I'll keep my day job though. ;) I was texting Michal to tell him he would've won the 1500 handily (against kids) when he messaged asking for the scoop. PS... His shoes definitely helped... Neon orange which coordinated with a neon orange accent on his shirt. He was wearing a dark gree...

Brutally humid this morning. It was like breathing water. Ran for an hour anyway. Now to find some air-conditioned place to get some work done.

Very sweaty, humid run this morning. The only upside to this humidity is that you can smell the flowers in every garden you pass. It must prevent the molecules from dispersing.

Re: pizza in Toronto

We actually do have an RMer (scrumhalfgirl) who keeps a pizza-centric blog, so we should all defer to her. I try not to eat much pizza anymore, but I've stumbled upon the best topping combination: anchovies and pineapple. The sweetest possible topping and saltiest possible topping together... amazi...

The fellow who established this program was the director of a kids' event we timed today. This looks friggin' interesting and fun. It would be a great destination event, though you can go there to train or to do some volunteer work. Rift Valley Marathon They are looking for 2:05, 2:10, 2:15 and 2:2...

Oooo, I may be going over to do the timing for it. (crossed-fingers... and toes... and anything else I can cross)

They only allow 100 'outsiders' to run the marathon, along with a couple of hundred locals. Mind you, there are probably more than a few elite runners in that group of locals.

Good article. Unfortunately, I think it applies to any choice we think we have with respect to most products, not just food.

I gotta get out with BG (and you) out for a 'wee jog' one of these mornings - it would do our souls some good...
