Re: Boston Registration

...And whether that happens or not, I will get into marathon form again because there is a new 3:10 goal to be achieved. 3:15 will likely be enough, but someone need to pace Erin to his BQ... ;) I will no longer live in the past on this thread, just the iRun submission. I would like to congratulate...

Re: Boston Registration

Wow, tough moment. I was in a meeting and following the acceptances noted in the thread and then I ran to my desk to check if my name was there, it wasn't. I went back to the meeting and an email came in my blackberry saying I wasn't accepted. Hit me like a ton of bricks and I couldn't speak at the ...

Re: Boston Registration

Was looking at the RW forum. If they allow 22000 in, I would be in, 21500 it would so very close, 21000, as is popular belief, I miss by about 30 secs....

If they allow 22,000, all BQ @ 0 get in....do they have a heart?!

Re: Boston Registration

Same here, I'm actually ok with it. I do respect the process, I truly believe the "best" should go. Yes, there could be debate on how to measure, but I think they have done the best they could. It's just tough to think at what level I was at and what I need to do to reach that level again...

Re: Boston Registration

Both of you... STOP IT!!! At the time you ran your race you had no way of knowing that you would need anything faster than 4:00/3:20 to get your qualifying time. It's out of your hands. Let it go. You will feel much better if you do. lol...ok...not looking to get you stressed by us whining about ou...

Re: Boston Registration

22500 and climbing.... :( To be a realist, the -1:00 don't have a chance so I'm out. I'm thinking back that I walked thru the last water station, that could have been the difference of going to Boston or not. Never ever play the "what if" game (in this, or in life). You'll drive yourself ...

Re: Boston Registration

If I don't make it, I'll run Ottawa to try to...PB, unless Erin shows up to drag me to a a BQ -5:00 (3:10). I don't think 3:15 (my new BQ) will be enough

Re: Boston Registration

Done, 2020532.

Kinda got a butterfly, but it's passed. If I want to get to Boston, will need to get on the horse and start training again, no free ride in 2012!
