Re: Hot breakfast cereals

I baked a large pan of oatmeal for breakfasts this week with peaches and strawberries. Between the 3 of us it lasted 4 days. We can just scoop out a bowl and reheat in the morning and add a drizzle of maple syrup. Here is the general recipe I follow. I swap out the fruit with whatever I have in the ...

Re: Hot running (newish) Momma's thread...

Question for a friend for those of you that use the Bob Revolution- At what age did you start running with it? With or without the infant seat? Please forgive me if this has been asked before-- it's hard to search all in one thread. ;) My friend's baby is 4 months old and they use the Bob for walki...

Re: Huge bomb found as Giro d'Italia party hits town

Sadly, this isn't unusual over there. :( We just don't often hear about it in N.American media unless it goes off. Last time I was in Dublin a couple years ago, they dismantled a number of large car bombs that week that never made the news at home. There are a few cranky people right now on the Repu...

While in Dublin check out Phoenix park. http://Www.phoenixpark.ie" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. it's very beautiful and a lot like Central Park in NYC. I'm in a rut!! I hope it's one that passes quickly, but for the past couple of weeks I've really struggled to be excited about my runs. It's partly the weather for sure. I hate getting all bundled up, I hate the footing, I hate the cold. It's partly stress about Nathaniel's weight too- he spits up ...

I feel like teething is one of those nice excuses we can use from the ages of about three months to three years as a possible explanation for why oh why our babies are cranky / not sleeping / crying / not eating etc! I swear, C was working on her two year old molars for 8 months. It's better than t...

Do any of you gals have some links or recommendations for good post-natal core workouts that have varying levels of difficulty? I have a bunch of yoga videos (yin, power, vinyasa) so that's covered but I wouldn't mind a good all-round strength workout that uses body weight primarily. I don't have a...

I lost it all right away with Owen. Most of it was fluid for me because of the BP drugs I was on. As soon as they switched back to my normal ones I was sweating out 2-3lbs per night - it was ridiculous how bad my body wanted rid of the excess water. Then I had another 10lb drop below my normal...
