Re: tattoos...again....?

[ Anyway, we were talking about getting tattoos or "skin stickers". [quote="Jo-Jo"]Hey tortoise...I got a tattoo for my 50th B-Day too! Mine are shooting stars...a tribute to a friend who died many years ago.

Congratulations. I am ashamed to admit that mine were for purely selfish reasons!

By the way, I have two real tattoos I had done for my 50th birthday. They are on my upper arms and are an eagle on the right arm and a wolf head on the left arm. Even my wife liked them!

I don't know if my post was lost so I will repeat it. Stickers or temp tattoos are fine for me. either size . Let me know when you have been able to firm up the size of the order . I will get a dozen or so of whatever.

Stickers sound good for me. Either size is fine. BTW I have two real tattoos one on each upper arm. An eagle on my right arm and a wolf head on my left. They were a 50th birthday gift to myself.

Unplanned rest day for me. My 12 km run with the "Usual Suspects" was cancelled due to heavy rain and lightning. As I have been logging many, many kms in the past several weeks I took it as a sign from the Running Gods that I needed an extra rest day. Three weeks to my next Marathon at Lake Ainslie, ...

Thanks for the warm welcome. The name is because of my running pace! Slow and steady is the order of the day. I try to mostly run in my "comfort" zone! When I took my first half-marathon clinic I trained much too fast and hard, thus developing the whole gamut of overtraining injuries. So I lea...
