Erin, do you mean to say that you're not running on your honeymoon? The clothes and shoes will be packed, but i dont know if they will actually be used. My fiance is very supportive of my running, but he may draw the line at getting up early to run on the honeymoon. Lots of good rich food and 30C+ ...

I ran it last year. It is SO MUCH FUN :D :D It is not really hilly, more like boardwalks and paths that are inclined (like in the one section, IndoMalaysia i think?, you have to go up a zig-zag boardwalk that was wet and slippery last year.) If it is the same as last year, you do not have to do the ...

Angel- So sorry to hear that. Run through the bad times and hopefully it will all work out for the best in the end. Also treat yourself this week to something totally girly and splurging (shopping? a pedicure?). Make sure you look after yourself!

Good Job Rob, way to PB!! Especially pasing people on the hill  that hill was pretty steep! And great work for being the series #1 in your age group! :D Yes, i agree, it was a fast field. We were right at the end. They messed up our results, and have me finishing a full 30 seconds ahead of my...

I was a little apprehensive about our club name in the first place... The only thing I want to say is please remember that one man's source for a quick chuckle is another man's lifetime of suffering and degradation. It made me sad to see the many people who were put away for Epilepsy. I have occasi...

In the mississauga 1/2 marathon there was this lady who screamed out "Runners have great legs". So, as silly as it sounds, I like to chant to myself "Runners have great legs. Runners have great bums" when i am having a tough run. Silly, I know, but it works for me. :D

Just couldn't sit idle in Calgary, so a few minutes ago I signed up for the 10 km on Saturday and the half on Sunday. Hopefully my half will go a little better than the Masters one two weekends ago. Looking forward to seeing you Holly and Jen. Thanks for volunteering. Did I read that right, the 10k...

Fergus Highland Games 10k (long)

This afternoon I was a person pace bunny for my little sisters first 10k race, the Fergus Highland Games, and here is the report of our race. We woke up to lotsa rain, and my sis did not have running gear for the rain, so i lent her my running jacket, and made do with a new zip up top I had gotten o...

See 1904 - Nov 11 - James Jenkins - what the heck is "softening of the brain" caused by business troubles??? If I had time, I would scroll ahead and see just how many years it goes to! Maybe we may see some names we recognize from the political field! There are some really strange causes in there -...

I think he will be injured in the first 10 games and they will be stuck payng the big bucks for nothing! The Leafs could...
