I am staying wherever IronColl tells me we are staying! She has told me the name of the hotel, I can't remember it though. I think it has an animal in the name.
I sure hope she doesn't get annoyed at me and say "Well, WE are staying here. You go sleep in the car!"

It's currently -40 with the windchill...and I work outside. I am SO looking forward to today. Long johns? check. Fleece lined jeans? check. Balaclava? check. I have my running clinic tonight, and the instuctor said he reserved the pool so that those of us who do not want to run outside can go water ...

I got registered at about 11:45! I had the same problem with the "Registration" button not appearing until about 9:45. So it only took me two hours. It gave me a confirmation #, but I haven't gotten my confirmation email yet. I'm doing this on a laptop with an aircard connection, too! Fast like dial...

I didn't really have a running hero. Then I watched Ironman Canada last August, cheering on IronColl. Every time I have a bad run now, I picture those triathletes running, walking, weaving and staggering their way towards the finish lines. The girl we passed after the fireworks had gone off who was ...

Here's what I have so far: March 19th - St Patrick's 10K (Edmonton) June 18th - Oliver Sprint Tri (Oliver, BC) September 23rd - Melissa's 10K (Banff)(as above, if I can get in. Good thing I have internet access at work). I'm sure I will add more. I am considering a Tri-a-Tri before my sprint, and if...

I haven't seen the segment, but I thought you might enjoy this: My boyfriend and I were talking a bit about running at the dinner table tonight and he said he had read an article in the paper today about some woman who lost 100 lbs because of running and was on Oprah. I shouted "THAT'S CHERYL!" and ...

I found this: http://www.nbwebexpress.com/detail.asp?style=WRSK5010 on the web today while searching for running skirts. I love the way this looks, especially the waistband. I am going to have to try to find one when I am in the states. And don't feel ashamed about thighs rubbing! Mine do too, even ...

I just tried on lululemon's untimate mini today, and am sorry to say it did nothing for me. It cut off in the wrong spot on my thighs, making them look super fat (or highlighting the existing fat?), and the shorts underneath were too short (the fat on my thighs would have rubbed together while runni...

I use a cleanser with salysilic acid in it to control breakouts. I don't know what brand I am using at the moment. It's all the way in the shower.. Step #2 is a toner Step #3 is Nutrogena Oil Free moisturizer with SPF 15. Since I work outside, I don't shower in the morning (my hair takes 3 hours to ...

I'm glad I am not the only new swimmer. I swam alot as a kid, then took a 20 year break :P I joined the Master's Swim Club, and had my first swim on Monday. The coach had us busy the whole hour and a half, mostly doing drills to improve technique (such as the on the side with the flutterboard thing,...

I tried checking the Penticton Race Sched for you to see if there would be anything for you to run while you are there...but they still only have the 2005 sched up. You could contact Peach City Runners (http://www.peachcityrunners.com/html/home.html) to see if they have anything in that time frame :...

I read someplace that black tea actually curbs your appetite and can help you lose weight. I drink one giant mug of English Breakfast tea in the morning, black, no sugar. I then drink 1-2 litres of water during the day (depends on how busy I am at work and how often I am near my water bottle). I try...

I am very well endowed, and got the Bounce Breaker from lululemon. My sister in law, who is less endowed, swears by their Marathon bra (unfortunately, it was not enough support for me). The bounce breaker does exactly what it says, and is so comfy I want to wear it all the time. Plus, it is pretty p...

I don't eat regular breakfast cereals because I am lactose intolerant, and taking a lactaid just to have a bowl of cereal seems like such a waste (I save them for ice cream). I like Red River cereal. I eat it with a bit of maple syrup (less than a TBSP) and a splash of skim milk (not enough to set o...

This isn't on lulu's website, but they also have a Bounce Breaker bra, which is more supportive than the one posted on the 1st page of this thread. I bought it in purple, and ran in it today. it works! And I have alot of bounce to break. I also picked up one of the Plie skirts, which layers over sho...
