I should have run today as I head back to icy Vancouver tomorrow but I slept in instead. Why do vacations go by so quickly !?!

First run for 2017,managed just short of 8k in paradise (Kapaa, Kauai).

Didn't manage a run today but did get out for a great walk at Boundary Bay park this morning and the walk/shuffle in Burnaby this afternoon. It was sunny and gorgeous in Tswassen first thing today, less beautiful in Burnaby this afternoon - with some shovelled walks, some slush and some packed snow/...

Headed back downtown for a great 9k run.

Skipped the run today (sidewalks are still too treacherous in Burnaby). But had a great get together with the running gang. Lovely dinner and ridiculous gift exchange. We used to be ableto fit the gifts on the table, now we need an entire room. It was a great haul of running gadgets and *$ cards.

I'm surprised I'm the first to post today. After many emails, it ended up that ten of us were able to get out of our driveways or onto transit to make it out for today's run. We headed downtown in search of clearer paths but we might have done better running in the nice fluffy snow in Central Park. ...

No run for me tonight I have an office Christmas party instead. I don't know if the paths/sidewalks have been cleared enough for safe night time running anyway.

Did 10k on a gorgeous, sunny morning. The sun was a bonus as I had been expecting rain.

We were lucky to get our run done before the rain started. There was a downpour as we were heading off to Skytrain after coffee but I can handle minutes in the rain a whole lot better than hours in the rain.

9 k done in an hour.

I'm getting a little tired of these soggy runs. We did 15k in cool, breezy drizzle.

I ran 9 hill repeats last night, it was supposed to be 10 but I got lapped

No plans for anything today.

Ended up just two of us running together as the rest of the runners mutineed and did a different route. The two of us had a nice easy 7k run and then met up with the walkers for coffee.

Definitely silly not to run outside on the one day this month you get to run and stay dry.

Definitely not sunny here, I seriously considered just going back to bed but since I had already invested a pair of disposable contacts, I toughed it out. It was chilly, damp and windy ... all my favorites.

14k here, Half in nice weather and half in rain. The last 4K was uphill so the misery of the soggy rain was muffled by the whining of my hip flexors.

Great day today, I had too many clothes with me but I appreciated them post run. I was feeling rather twingey from yesterday's run but managed just over 9k today.

Bonus run today, the weather forecast was for rain all morning but we got lucky and the rain let up shortly after we started. Did just short of 14k along the Greenway (which is a bit of a misnomer - it's more of a Greyway through light industrial area)

Resisted temptation to skip tonight's soggy run but didn't resist the leftover chocolate at work. 6k done

Gorgeous fall day today, we ran around Deer Lake to enjoy the sun, fog and the views.
Our usual post run cafe lost their lease so we had to go hang out at the Food fare in the mall for our post run coffee. Oh well, at least there is lots of room for us.

Managed to miss most of the rain, got misted on for the last 15 minutes or so. Did just around 13k.

Went to a Girls Night at New Balance. Had planned to run there from work but I wimped out on the run because of the rain ... and the dark.
The event was great, lots of healthy food and free booze.

It was nicer than expected here for the Rock and Roll 10k. I ran a bit faster than was the probably wise as I am running the Half tomorrow. Managed a 59:35 which is the first time I've beaten an hour in a while.

It has been raining quite a bit this week but it cleared up just in time for this evenings run. Did a nice 6k with the gals.
