8:47 P.M. November 1, 2008 Now THAT is specific. Was it 8:47 when you started or finished the run? I posted @ 8:48. I will leave the rest up to you. Today I went out for 3:45. As a result, I definitely want credit for today's run. Too bad I can't carry forward some of that time to another day! 6/44...

Aren't there only 54 days left now? I find this confusing. My poor little brain has to keep counting days!!

Now, after all that something really weird happened. I had a break through run. I had no intent of doing it. I didn't push the pace (with the exception of the last 1/2k). I went out for a nice easy run with a group. I started a little faster than I have, but it felt good. I kept going with the thoug...

OK, silly question-- was yesterday (Sunday) the first day, or is today? And does Christmas day count, or only up to Dec 24? I am easy! If you don't want to count Christmas Day, start counting yesterday. If it is more beneficial to you to start today, do so; then Christmas Day is your last day. In m...

Donald, it seems to me that whenever you go off on a speed conquest you mostly end up on the disabled list. Not sure how long you've been back at it consistently, but I'd recommend just enjoying the runs for now. Build a larger base and let your muscles and tendons strengthen up before overstressin...

The Need for Speed!

I have been working at getting back into the shape I was in in 2006 and better. I have gotten my base rebuilt. I feel like I can run long slow distance without any problems. The problem I am having is reminding my body how to run fast. Although I would like lightning fast greasy speed, I would settl...

The 50/60 Challenge!!

I am challenging myself to a new challenge and inviting you to join. Here it is. There are 60 days until Christmas. Out of those 60, I want to run 50 of those days for at least 25 minutes. It is similar to the 20 minute for 30 days challenge, except it allows you to schedule the occasional day off, ...
