Ran my first 50K while down visiting my in laws in PA. Great, but tough course. 5000 feet of climbing, and sections of unrunnable rock hopping. Looooonnnnggggg climbs- some of them lasting 45 mins. Finished in just under 7 hours, which was good for 2nd place.

No run for me today- 8 hours (hopefully just in the office then 4.5 hours of driving after work- vacation starts today!

Easy paced 6k for me this morning- taking it easy as I have a race on Saturday.

Sure wasn't scorching for my run this morning- 7°C!

An easy paced hour on road and trails from me this morning.

Just got back from Silent Lake PP- what a great place for trails! There was a trailhead for a beautiful 3km loop right across the road from our campsite (which the puppy and I did a bunch of times) and from that trail you could connect to the 15km trail that goes around the whole lake- single track ...

No beach time for me today, though my wife and kids are at the beach while I slog it out in my cubicle.

11km for me this morning- up to the local conservation area, and did hill repeats on slippery, rooty trails while being chased (and caught) by deer flies. Good times!

Good morning for a run here- misty rain, and mild. Did 30km in Presqu'ile Park- met up with my regular running buddy and a friend of his for 10km in the middle. Nice mix of road and muddy trails.

Well done! It's so fun to get off the road and onto trails.

Glorious today here- clear and cool, and to make it even better, I have the day off!

13K this morning on hilly country roads with a friend. And since I don't have to go to work, I ran at the much more civilized hour of 7am rather than at my usual 5am.

Short one for me as I had to get to work early- 9K- up to my stand by trails for a single loop and then home.

30km for me this morning- started out at a nice & easy pace on trails, then cranked it up to marathon pace by the end.

I was planning on doing a long one today, but the kids asked me to camp out in the backyard with them, and due to not getting a good night's sleep, decided to postpone the long one to tomorrow.

Did 13km on road and trail instead.

some trail shoes are good on the road and some aren't... my old raptors hated the road, because the sole and traction are so hard. Those shoes are little tanks though. :) Since I'm in the market for a new trail shoe I might look for something with better crossover ability. I have a pr of Salomon X ...

50ish km on the Frontenac Prov Park perimeter trail- super tough trail.

That was the first time I've gone over marathon distance. The last 8km were a bit of a bit of a sh*t show, but I got it done.

Woke up with a nasty headache, so I didn't run. That's okay though- a rest day is probably a good idea as I'm running the Frontenac Prov Park perimiter trail with a buddy tomorrow- 52km!

It's a steamy one here on Ontario- when I headed out the door at 5 it was 19° with 89% humidity.

15km done- started nice & easy, slowly wound it up to 1/2 marathon pace, then back down for an easy finish.

Just under 12km this morning, with hill repeats on muddy trails in the rain.
