Marathon Des Deux Rivers
My left knee didn't hold up very well, or very long. It wasn't in the best of shape to start with, but I thought it by not pushing it I would last a little longer. I was mistaken. Cracking 50 is always nice. Well done. Lots of nice scenery in QC, but I don't know about schlepping a camera on the course; but then that's not my style. It may be your style. Enjoy the Marathon des Deux Rives and romping about the second-oldest city in Canada (St. John's is no. 1, I believe...) :...

Q - I think that's a great way to look at what the goals are for each leg. For reference sake - when I ran leg 4, I was at about a 2 hour half marathon "shape" - I was able to hold 6 min/km for everything BUT smokey - my overall pace ended up being about 6:10/km, I think - which is much slower than...

There are 17 legs to the relay. But we have had runners run more than one leg in the past, so don't think we will not have a team if we don't get 17 runners. Currently Interested Runners (as of Aug 20th): bicycle.boy Bman HCID Hermes MrsStrider Nick Q Run_Longer Sanders Scotty Stella Stephan strider...
