Re: Marden Half Marathon $15
Hahha I heard about the bathroom questioning. I think I am the lone person who hates this race, great set up. nice food. I was the singular person in my group of friends who didn't PB, in fact I did worse than last year. Road races should be flat. Trail races hilly, and never the two should meet. Pe...

Re: Around the Bay 2014
Last minute desion to wear capris, VERY happy I did. Every year I say, wish I would have trained for this race, did fine today with minimal log runs, even fewer medium runs, and frankly it isn't worth it to change for short runs.
I think this is the next revolution in running, not training. LOL

Re: Around the Bay 2014
It is going to be my slowest ATB to date, so I am certainly hoping it is at least 5. Never felt so completely untrained- well except for vulture bait that one year. That is an ultra so that is different.

Re: Triathlon Bike Help!!!
Thanks for al your help. Just thought I would share how I followed up. I do not have a local bike shop that carries tri-bikes. For most of my servicing needs/ fits I go to a guy who has a shop in his barn. Everybody in my tri club swears by him or they go to the local hardware store. My husband has ...

Triathlon Bike Help!!!
Heres the thing- I do not have a lot of disposable income for extras. I do have about $2000 for a triathlon bike. Should I buy a used cervelo P3C which is 5 years old with 5000km on it for $1800 or try my luck at the bike show? The bike has been maintained etc. My thinking is my money goes further w...

Re: Tired legs at 40 mins
In the study of one.. myself. I find that tired legs early in a run means I could benefit from new shoes.
Not to say that would work for you, it just has worked for me.

Re: Bike stolen at the "The Canadian" in Ottawa
An adventure race I did this year required photo ID for gear reterval. Mind you, I was watching my kids and my husband just took my drivers license, but they are very serious about being mindful of your gear. Even last year, when the race was cancelled MID RACE due to weather. They just said no exce...

Re: Muskoka 70.3
Pin on tri shorts already for some unknowen reason. Stupid question but would I look like a total knob if I put my bike shorts on over my tri shorts in transition for the bike?? Then remove them in T2? Just can not think I will make 94k without nerve damage... and I am sure I will lose the race some...
