Re: Speed River Inferno Live Stream begins tonight at 7pm

I went last year and it was really cool... I hope to go again. It was pretty good actually, the commentating was way better then I expect...

I saw Ed in Milton yesterday driving down Main street, surprised such a celeb in his old car.
I want to be like him when I grow up.

Re: Robbie-T @ Marden Half Marathon
Small PBs are the best kind: all the thrill of a new accomplishment without the subsequent letdown of wondering if it was the last one. When you're ready for the latter, find a flat race in the fall and I'll call dibs on 1:21. Is all this running building to a spring marathon? Thanks, No marathons ...

Robbie-T @ Marden Half Marathon
$15 bucks for a half, why not eh!! It has been since 2007 since I ran a half marathon, and I've been wanting to do one again for a while now. The lead up to this race wasn't ideal at all. I've been delivering mail all week through some pretty terrible weather (rain and snow) and my legs were getting...

Re: Double Bellybuster - Getting Wet at the Marden Half Mara
Great run, picking it up i those final couple km shows a lot of heart and strength, that last sand/mud trail to the finish line was a bit annoying.
Anyway it was a good day for a hard run, good seeing you.

Re: Nov 28-30 - $15 to Register for 1/2 marathon 5 and 10 km
Locals/Robbie/Doonst - can we get a course review. I see the out and back, is this on a flat road or a hilly one? Thanks! I drove it in the "return" direction on the way to work today...I would describe it as mixed - several rolling areas, several flat spots, probably about 4 steep (not r...

I'm in for a quick Half, I haven't gone that distance since 2007, hopefully I can still do it.

Great race and nice pacing, I did see that butterfly come through the finish those wings had to be about 8 feet tall.
Sounds like you are ready for a great marathon.

Re: Robbie-T @ ATB 1013
btw...Randy Zabukovec from Kingston.....you generally run neck and neck with him (if I remember he's usually a few seconds ahead) ended up running seconds slower than you. Knowing Randy he's as ticked as you are about not going sub 2! You're a speed demon...so seconds count! You're still my friend ...

Did you end up passing pink sock girl?
Another opportunity next year, perhaps.
She had a good lead on me after the hill, I caught her and passed her the last time at 2k and yelled at her to finish hard. She passed me at about 1k and beat me by about 10seconds, she's was over 2:00 too.

Re: 2013 Around The Bay
Here is another ATB elevation profile, not bad, however at the 30k point in Copps it messes up.
In my opinion 23-24k is the killer.
