Where The He11 Did That Girl Come From. (With A Pic)

So, I signed up for the Highland Games 5 Miler. I felt pretty good about it. Heck it's only 8K how hard can that be.... Minutes before the start, I'm seeing all the young speedsters here. Yikes, I'm thinking this might have been a mistake. OK, you know what, I can have a slice of humble pie. I bet i...

Thnaks for all the supporting comments everyone. I agree with Dennis, thanks for sharing this race with us! It's awesome! You ran a great one. Congrats! Thanks for sneaking me onto one of the first boats! Ang, loading boats is what I do. Is it any surprise I stepped (literally) and helped to get the...

See, like I said, no worries. I knew you could do it.

Besides, the island which I was on, of course, had to be the fun island.

I'm glad you stepped up to the challenge.

Well done.

Great to meet you!

I'm glad you had fun at this scenic but challenging race.

You did great! You should be proud.

Hopefully, I'll see you sooner than next year though!

Tons of pictures of you at this race. The one you picked out is the best in my opinion.

I'm glad you were able to attend this year. It is an awesome race!

Not Since Moses (Well Not Since Last Year)

What a great day! This course is awesome. But I'm already sure you have heard that. This is my second time tackling this course. This year they decided to run in it reverse order though. I'll be honest. I think I like the mud near the end instead of near the beginning. Anyhow, I tried to get some go...

Had a long wait at the DMV today. But had an interesting conversation.

You know, I'm going to be OK.

Really, I am.

Hoping to go for a LONG run tonight, after the heat of today.

Have a great day.

5K early morning walk today.

It was nice despite almost getting creamed (twice) in the crosswalk at the rotary by ladies in their mini-vans.

Meh.. whatever, still a good day to be alive.

Had an awesome/very busy day yesterday. Thanks to the 8 maniacs (plus the RM team mate, and the tri lady - 2 future maniacs maybe?) who dropped by the house last night for pretty much an 11th hour party. It was nice to have all those people in the house. And somehow the place was cleaner than when t...

A very good result considering this was a taperless event. Plus the wind along the airfield was wicked strong.

If I ever do a tri, this will probably be the one.

Good luck for NFLD!!!!

I hope you stay injury free. There is some training time left.

You will rock the rock!

14 Wing Tri Volunteer Report

Well, as the title says, I'm not racing in this one. Just up to support some friends. I took the camera, but it was a nasty looking day, and I didn't feel like taking pix, and nobody seemed to mind once I said, "Hey, I think I'll just leave the camera in the trunk." So, I say to Andrew "Hey you need...

Anyhow, thanks for the replies everyone!

So, I'm asking for help...

What kind of meals, lunch and supper, for one, can you suggest? Breakfast is pretty easy for me. I almost always have the same type of thing everyday for Breakfast, of course a day with a long run, the breakfast changes. I eat a lot of little meals: Breakfast 2nd breakfasts (A little LOTR there, - A...

A day late, so I'm just catching up. Had a really nice early morning run, despite the heavy mist/light fog. An out and back course and a string finish for a neg split. Then despite being a 13 hour work day I got 2 more ducks lined up in a row on my coffee break. Then I saw a friend over lunch, one, ...

I did multi-task while on my breaks at work and did get two more ducks in a row.

Hunting season is opening soon, and I have a hankering for duck!

Beware of Zombie Johnny Miles.

Seriously, I'm glad you had fun, and not at all sad that we didn't get to spent some time together in a hospital waiting room, well maybe just a little sad.

Oh, and share the home of a PW... how cool is that!!!!!!!
