Turkey Day Sunday

The trails were pretty empty when we ran this morning, and then we were the only patrons in the coffee shop after our run! Not sure if it is because people are busy making turkeys, or are in the valley for the races. 6k done for me. That didn't even earn me my turkey, let alone the rest of the fixin...

Baseball Thursday

Luckily for dh (and I guess me, by default), the Jays game today is on at 4:30. So, it was an early start this morning, getting the workout done before work so he can get home early enough to watch the game.

Strength work and then treadmill walking done.

It smells fantastic, but there is something in it that I don't like - maybe the safflower? My colleague bought some.

Monday?

It's noon here in Halifax, so I might as well start the daily thread. I went to a 60 minute spin class this morning. Likely a walk at lunch, and that's it for me for today!

I think it is the first day of fall today? Maybe sometime later today?

Rest day for me. :)

Dh dropped me off this morning and is taking the car to a late appointment out of town, so I WILL be running the 7k home from the bus stop. It should be a nice afternoon for it. I look forward to the section along the ocean.

Ok. I edited the title since I can't even find proof that I'm slightly right with a google search. Though the seasons will always change in my mind on the 21st, even if it is wrong!

It is 12 degrees now, and I would have guessed it was warmer. It was the perfect temp for running. 5.2k done.

(Not) First day of Fall!

I'm up, just about to head out to the bus to go to the gym before work and run from there. It's a cool one (10 degrees), so perfect for the (not) first day of fall!

I've been meaning to get a new Road ID, so this thread is definitely a reminder to do so. Has he been identified yet? I hope so, for the sake of his family and friends.

Treadmill run this morning for an early lunch break. I was entertained by Kelly & Michael on the TV on the treadmill, and enjoyed the AC at the gym.

Re: Tempo Tuesday

The mornings are ok here - about 18 this morning, but humid. But I'm too lazy to get up early enough to get out before work. So it was nice and cool at the gym at lunch for 45 minutes on the treadmill (35 running, 10 walking to cool down enough to shower before heading back to work).

Awesome report, La! I was pissed for you when I read the part about the sag wagon, and I'm glad you didn't end up having to tell anyone off! Congrats on a great ride (or great rides) and for doing a fantastic job with your fundraising.

How did it get to be August already?
