One hour of soccer done...plus some post-game beer.

Body was tired but I managed 8K in the cold temps. Soccer tonight.

5K walk done, no sun in the basement.

No cats out at night but I did manage 9.5K with the group...dodging black ice and slushy puddles.

Finally got in a run on the TM tonight. Had to wait for my home-made beans to work their way through...Managed a 500m walk, 5K run, 500m walk. Legs were pretty dead.

4K uphill walk on the TM plus strength & stretch routine. Legs tired from yesterday's activities.

...and an hour of running my @ss off at soccer tonight. Beer tasted good.

-20 this morning but managed to stay warm and do 8.24K with the group. Longest run for a while so I am pleased with that. We re-start soccer tonight after 3 weeks off and that will be a test of the legs!

4K walk on the TM followed by my strength & stretch routine. Looking at -20 tomorrow morning....

7K on the TM tonight. 1K walk to warm up, 5K running and 1K walk to "cool down". And it is a virtual Friday for me as I am now only working Tuesday to Thursday each week!

Bailed on the group run tonight due to roads, weather and idiot drivers. Strapped on my new Garmin 230 and walked 6.25K on the TM in the warm and dry basement. Need to calibrate it outside since it overestimated my stride length by 10%.

230 arrived and I am playing with it. Already downloaded a new watch face. Outdoor run cancelled tonight due to weather and idiots on the road. Decided to turn around on my way to the group run. Thinking about a trial run on the TM in a bit.....

6K walk on the TM tonight. I am also waiting for my new Garmin (230) to arrive tomorrow....

Nice & easy 7.3K this morning. Staying home tonight and may make it to midnight...or maybe not.

I am returning my Forerunner 35 watch to Amazon. The heart rate readings from the optical sensor have been high since I got it..."easy" outdoor runs have an average HR of 186 with max of 201. With those readings, I should be toes up in the gutter. Anyways, I plugged in my chest strap today...

Not cold here unless you are in the wind. We did our last bits of present shopping this morning and then had a nice lunch to celebrate being done. I went down to the TM this afternoon and did a 5K walk, followed by my strength and stretch routine. Now to find that bottle of rum that keeps calling me...

Icebreaker "hiking" socks on the feet. They are thicker and taller than the regular socks. I am still struggling with my hands these days. I never used to have issues keeping them warm. I have so many different gloves and mitts in my collection now but nothing works when it gets really cold.

Strength and stretch routine plus 4K walk on the TM this morning. Think I may have conquered the bug that was haunting me for a week.

5K walk on the trails in fresh snow this morning and then an intense hour of soccer this evening. If it weren't for the 2.5 hour nap this afternoon, I could think I was over this bug. More snow tonight...

Back from a brief overseas trip and needing my exercise. Lots of snow outside that hasn't been cleared so went onto the TM. 1K walk to warm up, 5K run and 1K walk to finish off.

Ugly snow day on the roads here this morning. I got in 7K on the TM this evening..1K walk, 5K run, 1K walk. On a jet plane tomorrow night and back on Sunday.

2.65K walk on the trails and then a 7K run, half of it with the group before I turned around on my own. Soccer tonight. Was nice in the woods, out of the wind.
