Hi Dave,
I would like a large ladies betty shirt if we have enough interest for it to be in ORANGE. If not, I may order a long-sleeved.
Thanks for organizing this!

:( Just came back from my run with my sister. Today just wasn't our day, neither one of us felt good (could it be the take out curry we both ate for dinner last night?). So, we went for a 4k run followed by a 3k walk that ended at the local bakery . Off to eat my cookies and 3 grain bread! Che...

Prats My first forerunner would do that (cut out) when i hit bumps on my bike. Do not think that the update will fix that but try it anyway. nothing to loose but time. Sent mine back and had it replaced. Is it still under warranty? where did you buy it? I actually got this one as a replacement for ...

any chance of offering the short sleeve orange to the newbies that didn't get them last time, as well as what looks like the silver long sleeve? Yep, as long as we have 12 takers that's no problem. Andy, I'm not mentioning the visors only because they seem like one of the easier things to get so fa...

Garmin HELP- I want to kill it!
My Forerunner 201 has been acting wierd lately, turning itself off spontaniously. I called Garmin and they told me to get their online update installed, but i have never hooked it up to my computer, and now that I try, it doesn't read the Garmin. Any computer wizes out there that can help? I have it...

The Power of Running- Run Lornah Run.
I jsut watched a documentary on CBC Newsworld called "Run Lornah Run" about a Kenyan national team runner who started a running camp for other Kenyan women. It was very powerful- and talked a lot about how running gave these women the opportunity to potentially overcome opression within their househ...

Woooohooo- a training PB for me
Wow- I am soooo excited and just thought I would share. I just finished a "nice and easy" 5k run with my running partner... we did 5.35k in 31:01. :D :D HOLY COW- that is fast for me, I have only once done 5k in under 30 minutes. It didn't even hurt today, i felt great the whole way, chatting it up ...

Hi Erin, I know exactly where you mean- I run there quite a bit. It was part of my run yesterday in fact. You did nothing wrong. There are no markings on that path/sidewalk but I think they should have been on the road. I understand when bikers behind you ring their bell to alert you to their prese...

I don't know if I've seen a "bike only" path. They have them some places in Europe, next to the highways, but they are for mopeds etc. So, what other tricks do you do?  If there is chocolate involved almost anything- sit, shake a paw, roll over. For Ben and Jerry's ice cream I'll even do...

Right of Way on sidewalks/paths?
I am a bit confused about this one. I was running on a path that was next to a road yesterday with my sister (it was wider than a sidewalk, but right next to the road and not really a trail, an ashphalt path). For anyone from the Waterloo area, it was in the new industrial/office building complex th...

I woke up with the Blahs this AM, no concrete sickness, just general under the weather feeling- It has been going around at school, now i guess it is my turn to have it :( . I am working from home today anyway, and mostly doing reading/writing so I'll just take it easy. However, my running partner i...

Congrats all you Run for the Curer's- great job and a great cause! I went out with my little sister (who is becoming quite the runner :D ) for a 50 minute run. I felt like i could have gone for 2 hours at that (slightly slower than my normal) pace. The only downer is that before the run my Garmin br...

I have been having a hard time motivating myself to run so far this week. I actually havn't gone since last Thursday  Today I decided that rather than make myself do a certain distance or pace, I would just make myself get out there for whatever length of run i can. Anyone feel like designing ...
