16.5 k done today.
Now to rest and cure my cold and sore tummy.
I am taking the kids to bed early. A good snuggle in a king sized bed can't be anything but good.

Going long again today. Good thing because I haven't ran in the last 4 days.

The goal again this week is at least 8 miles, preferably 9, hoping for 10. We were only 700 m shy last week. Right now 700m doesn't seem far but somehow it gets longer after the first 15.3k. Go figure!

How did you like it? I love this recipe. If only I remember to put it together the night before.

Soak in salt water overnight.

Bake on low heat, like 250 or 300 for forever. Until crunchy.

Yummy!

A forced rest day today. Aaron is sick and my partner couldn't make it at exactly our regular running time and the window for rebooking today closed. Tomorrow morning, the gym. And maybe a run. High hopes, I know. Tonight, a good book, "American Gods" and a bath and to bed early. I never say n...

Good morning new mommies! Enjoy your walks today! Happy birthday James! I am resting today. Saturday was a race, Sunday was 15k LSD and sast night, teaching my learn to run clinic, I somehow managed to run 8.5 km. I had gone early to mark the trail for them at different distances like 1k, 1.5k, etc....

I'm supposed to post after that menu?? :? Off to RMB, where much running will be done. I feel almost whole again. Enjoy your day people! I know! My first thought was "Did Holly ever get an answer to the 'are you married?' question?" Not for me of course, 'cause Aaron boils really good water...

Speedy feet, Racers! I will run long and slow today. Good thing too because some idiot (namely me) allowed 6- 7/8 year old boys to have a sleep over last night. OIY! I finally had to separate the last 2 at 2 am to get them to sleep. And one of them had to get up for hockey so I had to get up at 6:45...

My first "race" of the year today! It is a fun run for Cystic Fibrosis. If my clinic members show up, I will go at their pace, if they don't show, I am going to push myself. I certainly can't do what I was doing before baby, but it would be great to break 30 minutes. Tonight, we are hosting 6- 7/8 y...

Took over a minute off my best time running my fave trail tonight! (best post pregnancy time)
I am happy.

A glass of wine and some quality time with Aaron in front of the tv with chocolate and I am a happy girl.

I am painfully tired this morning. Between the baby not falling asleep until 11:00 and the puppy fussing from 2-3:30 (and then baby up to nurse at 4:00), I am wiped. I am supposed to run at 4:30, but Aaron has somewhere to be at 5:00 tonight. It might take some negotiations but I really would like t...

Will try to get a run in later but first I have to go and steal BW from school at lunch time. (he will only miss an hour of his day) We are trying to focus on the importance of relationships vs "things" so he got one present and a little bit of money from us for his birthday. No elaborate toys and j...

I feel good today... I had forgotten how nice it feels to be all stiff and sore from a long run. :) That was me on Sunday! (after only 7 miles!) Today is much better. My partner can't go out for an extra run with me today so it is just what I manage with the clinic. Maybe I will try to get there 20...

My running partner suggested that she might take the day off work. I hope so and we can sneak out for a run before I have my run clinic tonight. I love the group but I need a little more than I get with them.

Happy Monday!

On the topic of babes... I don't think there is anything better in the world than having kids. Although, I would not have said that before I had them. Kristi, Kiza, hope you both have a terrific day as new mommies.
I am off to snuggle my baby for a while right now!

A run is planned for later.
I must spend time doing homework first.
