I had some tightness in my left calf after Saturday's long run, so I skipped Sunday. Monday is usually a rest day, so I didn't know how it would feel today... and I felt totally amazing! My 8 km run went so well that I don't know what to say.

I took part in the local annual run to St Jacobs for brunch buffet. We did about 13.5 km, and then I had three plates of food: breakfast, lunch, and dessert. Dessert was three desserts.

Really cold 5 km this morning. I was planning on a shorter run, but this distance was convenient, and my leg was feeling up to it. I'm thinking of going 10+ on the weekend.

Take a look at he Waterloo Run Series. Same race director. Most are bigger races but equally well run. Lloyd is great, treats runners like family. His son Jordan is his partner with the WRS now and has all the same good attributes and approach so this should be wonderful for those in the area for y...

It wasn't as cold today as yesterday, but still chilly. I did a 10 km tempo run this morning, and I tested to see how fast I could run 1 km at the end. I ended up with a personal best 1 km of 3:54!

Even if one was on the Saturday and one was on the Sunday, you could think of doing some sort of double.
