Mile intervals this afternoon. Three of them. In soft snow. I'm ready for spring.

I had some tightness in my left calf after Saturday's long run, so I skipped Sunday. Monday is usually a rest day, so I didn't know how it would feel today... and I felt totally amazing! My 8 km run went so well that I don't know what to say.

I did 10 km this morning. Happy New Year!

I ran a very chilly 8 km this morning. It was so quiet, which gave me lots of time to reflect on the past year. I wish everyone the best for 2014!

I took part in the local annual run to St Jacobs for brunch buffet. We did about 13.5 km, and then I had three plates of food: breakfast, lunch, and dessert. Dessert was three desserts.

Really cold 5 km this morning. I was planning on a shorter run, but this distance was convenient, and my leg was feeling up to it. I'm thinking of going 10+ on the weekend.

8 km this afternoon. It was beautiful and sunny, if a bit windy.

8 km in the c-c-c-c-c-c-cold this morning. I wore pants for the first time this season. My fingers were freezing!

20 km of trail running through leaves and mud. It was really windy, but a lot of fun.

My left leg was a bit sore after yesterday's intervals, so I took it easy on my 8 km run this morning.

I ran 10 x 400 m intervals at the track this morning. It was a balmy 8 degrees out.

8 km around the 'hood this morning. The sun was shining, and I didn't even need my gloves.

8 km birthday run for me! I can't believe it's 15 degrees outside on Hallowe'en.

It wasn't as cold today as yesterday, but still chilly. I did a 10 km tempo run this morning, and I tested to see how fast I could run 1 km at the end. I ended up with a personal best 1 km of 3:54!

I supervised three kids in Niagara Falls this morning while my wife finished her first half marathon! I'm planning to go out for a slow 10 km after the kids are in bed.

Even if one was on the Saturday and one was on the Sunday, you could think of doing some sort of double. I stayed in my warm cozy bed on this frosty morning. I'm taking my stuff to work for an 8 km run at lunch time.

I ran intervals this morning, 9x400m @ 5K pace. This is the first time since I started tapering for the Run for the Toad, and it felt great!
