Too hot here to turn on the oven--but more steaming than baking. 8.3 sweaty kilometers covered today.

Well, the humidex was 28 when I was out this morning--it felt hot to me, sunny and light breeze. I'm just not used to real summer yet/still, even though it's July. It was a very beautiful day here, just the same, and I covered about 5k.

Not too hot here, but boy, there were swarms of midges or fish flies or some other winged nuisance all over the trails in the woods. I did about 6k today, bugs be darned!

Ooh, I wished I'd known about the 150k Maniac Canada Day challenge--I would have run more! 4k run, and 2k walked. Now to get busy baking cakes for the family gathering tomorrow. Have a great weekend, all you Maniacs!

Boy, nothin' speedy about my run today, but I got it done: 5.5k.

Sounds like a great 10k. I had a donut after my last 10k--it really hit the spot. Congratulations on a good race!

Too soggy a day to run in the woods. We got about 3 cm of rain in 30 minutes. As soon as that let up I ran up to the high school, under a rainbow sky.

Unbelievably and suddenly hot here, too. Humidex was already 31 early this morning, so I'm not running today. Will aim for a morning run tomorrow. It's suddenly summer!

Happy to get in a fairly long (for me, these days) run in the park today: 6k.

Yeah, I ran late and then had to take my shower, then make dinner. Then clean up the kitchen. Anyway, got a short 4.3k in today, in a steady rain.

A rather blah run of 40 minutes to match the gray, damp weather today.

Seems we always have the opposite weather from Habs. Very cloudy, rainy and windy here. Got my 30 min. run in before the rain started.

4.5k in a light, misty rain. Good luck to all the racers this weekend!

Only animal I saw today was my cat! One hour of strength and core done.
