Long run Saturday! 20K - great pace despite some long hills and inclines. My longest run since May 2012. I'm back at it y'all!

As the summer months draw closer, I'm feeling the need to get real running sunglasses that wont be overheating my face and or fogging up constantly. Not to be vain, but I'm not a huge fan of the super sporty look of most running sunglasses .... has anyone discovered any "pretty" ladies run...

14K .. Tough with the snow on the ground and some big hills (quite different than the winter TM running I've been doing)

Did a treadmill circuit class this AM! Ran there and back too

Did my 10K Nike+ virtual race, plus an extra 6K for good measure. So nice out today, just got soaked in a few puddles of melting snow.

Hmmm maybe it was just a second " lottery" for some extra spots? Or maybe if you've done a nike race before? I did the full in SF a few years ago.... A mystery for sure!

Ok... I somehow got a Second Chance registration offer from the race via email!! Given that I was feeling spontaneous today, I signed up! I'm quite excited.... for my 2 day 1 night adventure in DC! I'm going to rock this Half!! P.S. - The email said I was offered the second chance since I had signed...

So I was lucky to get my entries in when I did! We are incredibly sorry that runners interested in signing up for the 2013 Bank of America Chicago Marathon experienced such difficulties today. We have been working nonstop with our registration provider to find the root of the problem and a solution....
