I am not good at writing but I’ll do my best to describe what went on at the 5 Km / 10 Km April Fools Run in Whitby (Port Whitby Marina) today April 1, 2007. Everything was fine with the race except for the depressing weather. It was raining from the beginning till the end (I just happen to remember...

Excellent
Congratulations. You made it to the finish line in a great time, you were not a bystander !!! Well done, despite the betrayal from the weather forecasters (we were supposed to have 10 C not 4 C ???!!!!!)

Congratulations on your PB

I spent most of the race coughing my cold/flu away meanwhile almost half of the runners in the race managed to passed me. Anyway my chip ti...

Remarkable advise Michal
It's really refreshing to read your clever tips, specially coming from a world record holder. I was impressed by your tip about being super-hydrated the day before the race (which I usually disregard). Thanks for your comments.

That's a great timing considering your slow training session
I wish I could that fast during this time of the year, I had to settle for 1 hour and 48" at the Chilly Half.
Remarkable effort. Congratulations!!!

2007 St. Patrick's Day Run at Exhibition Place in T.O.
I completed the race according to my watch in 22' 37" but the inaccurate time chip (official time) showed 22' 39" despite the fact that I was about 20 meters behind the start line. The temperature was about 4 C at the start. A runner fell to the ground beside me just a few meters after the start.......
