Will sign up next payday
Ain't that the truth. The money we save by running instead of gym fees goes to travel costs, race fees, and gear.

'course some of us still pay the gym fees.

I signed up at the ATB website, easy to do online, did not need huge details about CK just name age and shirt size. Asking all the RR info seemed a bit like stalking her.. address, DOB, etc.

I won’t be there this year unfortunately. My little sister is getting her iron ring that day in Kingston. Took the decision away from me (wasn’t sure about “racing” ATB 3 weeks out from Boston).

Iron ring ceremony is a big deal ...my husband got his there too.

I'm doing the 2 person relay with a new RM member Leigh. We are going to flip a coin to see who does the hills. lol

Iron Ring - the Ritual of the Calling of an Engineer: I have one, and I presented theirs to both my ds and dd at Queens! My dw feels left out as the only non-Engineer in the nuclear family, even our s-i-l is an Engineer!

I will be doing the 3 person relay with my ds (Philip) and s-i-l (Ben). We will competing against my dd, d-i-l and d-i-l's cousin. We haven't picked team names yet, but will do do soon! It should be a great day.

Cheers

And then you can all come to my house for breakfast :D :D

Seriously...I'm beginning to think the Queen's Maniacs need to plan a reunion at their old Alma Mater...I'd be happy to help with the planning

As long as there's a pre-pit party I am in!

(nothing says Queen's Engineering better than getting up at 3 am to start drinking for the pole)

My father (Science ’75) will be giving my sister her ring, but I will be there for the event. And back again for my brother in a few years.

If anyone is looking for a relay partner for 3x10 or 2x15 let me know. My sister is looking to be on a team.
