Strider - Bib 8581
Robbie-T - Bib 3704
Doonst # 14468
Jo-Jo # 20899

A quick search showed numbers as high as 26584. I wonder if they'll be up to 12 or 13 corals per wave this year.

I read this at LetsRun.com

Any bib number that is 10999 or below should be in the first wave.

and...

You corral number is the first number (or two) of your bib number. So 1xxx is 1st corral (right behind the elites who only probably have 100 people). If your number is 10xxx then your are in corral 10. I heard that they are going to try and evenly split up the waves so maybe corrals 1-12 or 1-11 go off at 10am and the rest at 1030am....

Thanks Mr. Corral#3,

I know someone that has a low 12,000 bib number, so at this point she could be either wave.

Found this posted on RunningAHEAD

For this year 1050-13,999 are in the first wave. 14,000-Infinity are in the 2nd wave

Which would mean Chris would be at the Very Front of the 2nd wave - How cool is that going to be - to Lead the second wave

Bib numbers will be good for athlete tracking, which you can also do by cell-phone, I hope (I won't be at a computer on race day).

I hope I can park myself somewhere soon after the start so I can see as many maniacs as possible going by. You guys are bound to get pretty spread out by the time you finish. :)

Thanks for pointing this out. I looked the other day and they weren't up yet.

I like my number: #12177

I have moved back in the pack by 321 places using the same qualification time, so this year's field is a bit stronger. (Last year I was #11856.) It seems that I have moved forward from Wave 2 to Wave 1.

Here's the updated list:

Jo-Jo.......when you make the one km walk from the high school holding area to the starting corrals it is impossible not to get emotional....when you walk down that street with the thousands of other runners heading towards the start line, that's when it will hit you that you are really running boston!! I still get gose bumps just thinking about it 8)

Same for me. I still have goosebumps or tears in my eyes when I relive Boston 2006. It was one of the most exhalting experience of my life. To give you an idea, see my race report:

http://www.runningmania.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=6191&highlight=boston+2006

I hope you have as good an experience as I had, but hopefully, your running won't go downhill from there like me.
I run because it's fun.

In another life:
3 marathons including Boston twice (PB: 3:47), 6 halfs (PB: 1:45), 6 10k (PB: 46:41) and 3 5ks (PB: 21:00)

This is so exciting - you have to 'soak in' every moment of it - it will not come back :D
I have butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it and I am not even going :|
