Saturday Thread?
Just back from my 5k in 32:04. Started out with my DD but she bailed after 1.5k due to a side stitch. So basically, she just screwed up my pace. Just kidding - it was nice to have her with me!
Tonight is date night with my hubby:D , but I also have to go to the funeral home for visiting hours tonight too. A coworker's mom died yesterday so I'll stop in to pay my respects.
Tomorrow is my 22k training run. I'm nervous! I wonder when I'll stop getting nervous before long runs?

Well, he is our confirmed LuLu wearing male in the group!
Did a 39K ride this morning: rain, wind that changed direction twice, and cow manure! YAY... I love the spring!
My bike is going to be going for a big ole' spray down before I can bring it back into my apartment

Ran the first of 5 trail races today - 5Peaks at Horseshoe Valley. I now realize how unprepared I am for trail running. I managed to finish (8.5km) but I know I could do better - I think my time was about 54mins.
Better incorporate some hills into my training again.

Went out on the bike anyway and got 65k done in 2:15. The wind was brutal at times, holding me to an effort to maintain 20km/h; but the sections when it was behind me I was able to hold 45km/h easily! That was fun!
Cheers.
Good day....
Spent the morning at our Honda dealership trading in our CRV and getting a new Pilot....we get it on Wed! whee!
Then spent the afternoon with my friend Barb - got on the highway with our bikes - 1:12 ride, 32.8k, 27.4 km/hr....good ride!
tomorrow - police half on the agenda - so just putting together my pace band and other crap together now....
Happy Sat!

Really having motivational issues lately... didn't get my run done last night so I went out today. Did 5k @ 5:47/km pace in the glorious sunshine. It wasn't an easy run though, my hip is really bugging me. I must make an ART appointment for this week or else I'll likely end up repeating what happened in Victoria in the fall where I basically limped to the finish line.
The rest of the day was spent running around with kids.. birthday parties, dance lessons, clothes shopping, gift shopping, and grocery shopping. Whew... now we're off to put up "lost cat" posters as one of my MIL's cats we've been looking after didn't come home last night.

Did a 5K run this morning...quite chilly, ran into a nasty north wind at -2C with wind chill factor -10C. I ran in shorts last weekend???
Ran errands with my Tater Tot this afternoon...CAA, Zellers, Running Room to get new shoes (had to order them in from Saskatoon), Safeway. Supper (mmm...tortillas with taco beef, cheese, hot salsa, and a taco salad). OT for 1.5 hours, play with the Tater Tot, get her to bed, another hour of OT, then check in with the Maniacs.
My day in a nutshell....
