GPS Mapping your runs

Postby TheBman » Wed Jul 27, 2005 10:22 am

Here is an awsome link....narrow in on your location 9Ottawa...and then blowit up till you see your house.
The click the "start recording" button and "double-click" each waypoint.

It is very acurate....

Dgrant....sorry if this is the same one you posted.......

Hey Bman.

Thanks for the link. Very cool.

Just checked to see how far I was out in Meech Lake this morning before I thought "Man, this is a stupid idea!!"

I can't get this site to open properly - the map portion doesn't load. Can someone try it and let me know if it works for you (or if its just me)?

thanks

In case you haven't realized it, you can set a TinyURL to center over your house (or wherever you start your runs) so you don't have to repeat the tedious procedure each time.

Then, the next time you need to map a route, just click the TinyURL and start tracking!

My neighbourhood doesn't appear to be on the map yet. No rush I suppose, the street has only been there for three years!
