Bonne Chance Sonia!

Good luck to all racers and a good run to those doing LSD this morning.

It's raining here, so I'll probably stay inside and do some P90X training

Have a good day everyone :)

Have fun racers! Can't wait to read the race reports

I did a short long run today - getting back into the swing of things - 7K however what a great morning to run. The humidity rolled in a mist / fog. I love when you can see far enough to feel safe but not so far you can see your next 'goal point' By the time I got to the river the sun was breaking and the fog burning off. It was gorgeous! The fog was just gone as I got home! Perfect morning and perfect timing for the run. Hope the racers have weather equally good or better! (though the weather man says it is raining ...)

Good luck everyone racing today!

There's a very slight chance that I'll get out for a short easy run this afternoon, but it's probably a rest day for me.

My training log

Why practice running slow? It comes naturally!

Just a 10km run this morning. My legs were feeling surprisingly fresh after my loooong ride yesterday, but I was still feeling the impact of the day out in the hot sun. I've done two long-ish runs in the past 8 days, so I didn't feel the need to push it further today.

One day I will do that Not Since Moses. It looks like a great race!

For me today, time to get back on the horse. Little Miss' Birthday Party turned into the Laugh at Dani Party at 7:30 when Miss went to bed. Needless to say, I am a touch dehydrated this morning.

I will either hit the gym or at a minimum, take Rio for a 5 km walk. It is HIS first birthday today so he gets a walk alone.

Lots of fun this morning running 6 km at the Woodbine Twister. We didn't quite beat the rain but were able to stay dry afterwards hanging out in the bandshell. Congrats and thanks to Dave and Lisa for organizing the race, and to Jim for timing it!
