5:15 am - A Great time to start the Saturday thread!

Postby Dani » Sat Aug 01, 2009 4:34 am

I have a 5 mile run at 7:00 am with a friend.
I woke up at 5:15 and couldn't get back to sleep.

Too excited about my run, I guess. Yeah, that's it. Good to know that things never really change.

Happy Saturday!

Up early(ish) to eat and such before my 29k. We wanted to go a little earlier to beat the heat. Well, surprise, it's rainy.

Rest day for me today, except for housework. Carpy day here - and yesterday was so nice.

Good luck all racers this weekend (and long distance cyclers :D )

Good luck racers, and have fun on your 29K Ang. Is this your new longest distance ever? :) I am heading out for 30 soon, and my God... it's SUNNY!! AGAIN!!! I'm very excited.

Feeling a touch off this morning, and I'm sure it has nothing to do with last night's wine. Nope. Not at all.

Spinning and strength this morning... changing things up and doing the abs and back class at the gym to see if I can get some new ideas.
Next?

It is only 8 degrees this morning, but with 100% humidity and a crazy wind. Really, how the heck do you dress for a 20 mile run in that?! Ugh.

Had very strange streams about Mike_Runs last night. Weird.

Off to Strength and Body Flow at the gym. I will try a bike ride later.

Housecleaning and gardening on the schedule. I'm thinking the gardeining will result in some freezing/canning of some sort!

Getting ready to hit the highway to Kingston. Kit pick up & bike inspection will be the first things on the list once I get there.

Andy, I'm sorely disappointed that you have no clue about the weather tomorrow. :(

Good luck racers and those with challenging training runs.

I am not happy - looks like my 301 has finally died. It will start up and function but I can't get it recharge....so kinda useless! :x

The USB connection has been wonky for awhile. Apparently, Costco has the 305 for $200 which is a fab deal but I can't decide if I want to ride it out with my timex watch until the latest model drops in price. What to do????

I'm heading over to Mooney's to cheer, then a run and then relax in the SUN!!!! :D

Great job Andre. Took 30 seconds off average pace from last week. After breakfast and a can of soda, I'm a pound and a half lighter.
