I'm being a bad runner and skipping run #2 of this week. It's hot out and I just don't see the point of running 3k today. I mean, is it really going to make a difference? 3k? (Yes, that's what I thought about the 5k the other day)

I'm going to the beach.

Strength and spinning this morning... and I can't say I'm overly excited about doing either.

Then a nice loooooooooooong walk in the super hot day this afternoon.
Next?

Get it done! Yes, it will make a difference. It will help develop mental strength.

I'm heading out to the gym. 30 min Eliptical, 30 min strength and body flow.

A list of houehold items as long as my arm, and making blueberry jam are also on the agenda.

I got in 12K shortly after 5:30AM One bonus of a puppy - no sleeping in! Having been out all week with a sore back I was pleased to get 12K in. It was very slow but still great!

Meanwhile today is the anniversary of my standing on Uruhu peak - the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. We reached the summit at 6:46AM Tanzanian time Aug. 15 2008!!!! Been thinking of it all week!

Sailing with my boss yesterday was the best day ever!
Sun, beer, jet ski, and tubing! Frickin' AWESOME!

AND I get to go on road trips starting this fall! The best job ever!

I got my 7 miles done this morning, despite the day yesterday. Today is sun, sun, sun! I don't care what we do but it sure as hell won't be inside!
I used to run. All the time.
Now? Notsomuch.
I'm still a runner, though.
Life is fluid and ever changing. I am too.

Lots and lots and lots of rain in the 'peg today. I have no workout scheduled today but lots of errands to run and might get in some strength if I'm bored tonight.

Lucky you's who have sun today. Enjoy it.

Made it out for an easy 5K today. Andy, next weekend when I start my back-to-back LSD's, I'm going to feel the same loneliness! Shift at banana this afternoon, then looking at two townhome communities (on top of everything else this week, we decided to get started with buying a house sooner rather than later b/c of the tax credit), then having friends over to watch the news 8) 8) 8) (and drink/play board games after the news/me on the news!)

Should be a fun day.

Also pondering getting a netbook...maybe the eee pc 1005ha...in light pink!!!

Trix, would you mind posting your blueberry jam recipe? Can it be transferred to other fruits like blackberries?

Very gentle 11K with the local running club. The legs feel ready to go for tomorrow, even though it is only a training race.
