Didn't sleep at all well last night so was up bright and early to cycle to work. Only be going half way home later because I have to pick up a car at Can Tire (a lot of car repair going on here lately!). So should be about 40km total on the bike by the time I'm finished.

Have a good day everyone! :D

5.5km done this morning. I did NOT sleep well. Maybe 5 hours. I blame it on the 2 hour nap after work last night.

I'll run again later.

A nice little 7K romp along the Canal / Ottawa River with Marg this morning ...

Slept for about 12 hours last night ... got home ... had some Vietnamese Pho Noodle Soup, then crashed out watching some tv at 5:00pm, woke up at 8:30pm, then decided to call it a night and eventually woke up around 5:30am this morning ...

10k here too. It's a nice cool 70 right now, with a high of 90. Should be a nice day!

Working from home this morning, then working from the office this afternoon, class tonight. That's about it!

Fast 18 last night. Tried to get up at 6am to start morning training but did not sleep well and couldn't pull myself out of bed. Going to try to retire by 9pm tonight. Really would like to have a workout done first thing in morning. Anything after is bonus. Kudos to all you morning maniacs!!!

Very torn between Newfoundland Provincial Marathon Championships (very difficult and low cost) on September 27th or Steamtown, Scranton, PA, Oct 11th (Very Easy and expensive), for my BQ. GF, Holly qualified in Cleveland, May 18th. Pressure is on lol.

I heart that sentiment right now ... but I am trying to keep on going. Overall my 10K went well but so very slow. Sometimes I envy people who can go out and run a 10 in under an hour. Being a slow runner means planning your day around any run longer then 5K!!!! But I got it in! :D

For the first time ever, I managed to get myself out of bed early enough to go for a run this morning before work.

Every other morning I have attempted to run before work, I always manage to turn off the alarm and go back to bed because I'm so comfortable.

Does this mean I'm actually dedicated to running now, or I had a momentary laps of judgement....?

But I got in 5k in 24:39 so that was an accomplishment for a cool morning.

Lazagna, morning is the only time I can run with any kind of pep. Plus I'm happy to get it over with for the day.

On that note! A peppy 10K tempo this morning! I was very happy with, especially after running 32K on Sunday!

Last night I went to bikram yoga - what a great class! I slept like a baby. No swimming this morning since our pools are closed, so I enjoyed the rare sleep-in treat. I'll try and do a little something tonight, maybe a walk or some strength.

Good morning, and another week of running off to a good start with speedwork on the TM. 6 x 1 miles with two minutes recoveries in between. Except that I cheated and did the first three miles all at once to see if I could match the speed a friend quoted me for his workout. Yes :) I ended up running an extra 10 minutes or to finish at the same time as DH, so 9.06 miles in total. What a fantastic feeling to have at the beginning of the day.

Hope everyone else has a great one!

I usually have pretty good pep even in the evening when running, so I'm good there. My problem is that once I'm in bed I don't want to get out.

Slept in again this morning...... I have a big deadline at work so I am not sure if I will get to the gym today or not. If I don't, I might try spinning during SYTYCD - I'm hooked!

Enjoy your day all!

couldn't sleep last night--partly from my own thoughts, and partly because terror dog upstairs was trying to escape her kennel all night so all I heard was thumping, scratching, barking and whining, starting at 3am and ending when they finally let her out at 5:30. Honestly I don't know how my landlords keep this up--they obviously can't handle her, so I wish they'd give her to someone who can. now I'm grouchy, lol.

tonight is mtb club and it looks like it *won't* rain all day so that is good!
