Sorry for those folks who wanted an early morning RM fix today. I spent a couple of hours going through stuff after Holly ran the database conversion. Hopefully, it all works like it should...lots more options in the new version!

well good morning!

yes it looks very different. I will continue to work on the template, as it`s still a little rough right now (bits of green here and there, and some other things to smooth out). Let me know if there are things that don`t work or whatever. :)

Is there going to be a "view posts since last visit" function? I know I will be lost without it....and I suspect many others will as well.

If there already is....can you tell me how to find it? I'm looking but not seeing anything like that.

Why does it say MSN and Yahoo are online?

Those are bots! I don`t know why they show like that in this version. They`ve always been there... just now they are recognized.

Also, if you hear from your friends that they can't see the new board, just the old one, tell them to update their bookmarks: if they are still going to the forum2, they may not see the new board (I will fix this later, but for now we might get some people trying to access it the old way--tell them to come through the front page and update the bookmarks! :).

A bit heavy on the orange & will require getting used to.
The messages & signature tags will definitely need getting used...
The colour relief from unread threads vs read threads will be a real toughie for me.

Hmmmmm

Yes I think there are some great new features. The rest is just getting used to the layout.

Well done by all

don't worry about all of this; the template isn't finished yet, and I'll be working on making it more readable and usable. :)

thanks for all the work, holly!

glad to read that the readability might change -- i may be one of the few with this problem, but orange-on-white is extremely difficult to read when you're colourblind. i'm having trouble seeing the orange font (and there's a lot).

also, i'm diggin' the new pointy-chinned emoticons, although the shocked guy looks like an alien.
