Gonna hop on the trainer for half an hour... then trek to T.O. for a one hour meeting.

Neighbour has a Birthday today. Bringing her a card and a bottle of whiskey. Will someone wake me up tomorrow at this time?

2 miles in shoes, 3 miles BF. Its much nicer on the calves doing a shod warmup first. :D

Sorry for using miles instead of kms...the boat deck is 1/4 mile, and my Garmin keeps cutting out as part of the track is covered.

I am taking a page from La's break and didn't run again this morning. My leg is bugging me (tightness in the same spot of the calf), so I'll do something at lunch (skate or bike at the gym), but not run. I have a massage after work. I'm fighting a cold and am tired, so sleep is my priority this week before running. I'll call this a cut back week. It's likely a good thing. Or, at least I'll tell myself that.

The rest will do you well Angela.

I did 45 minutes on the bike yesterday - it felt good going to the gym again. I'm thinking I might run 5 km at lunch and then snowshoe at the Aboretum after work.

I think I might fall asleep during the game tonight.... so. very. tired.

Same here..but seriously, sleeping thru the Canada/Russia match-up? I'll sit on the floor if I need to stay awake.

6k this morning, got slushed by cars 12 times, was quite wet by the end. Slushy roads and snow covered roads, I had it all.

Ran 5k on the TM last night with minimal pain, did a bit of a strength workout and lots of stretching. Not sure what I'll do today...I know I'll get in at least a core & stretch. Would like to do some more strength and spinning but we'll see.

I have been away for the past few days. We went to Vancouver to take in the party which was fine but a bit crazy with three kids then we went up skiing. WOW what fun. The kids are now great mini skiers, and I tried x country. What a great workout I loved it. Back at the regular training today. Swim and a spin

Back home after a week in California. What is this wet stuff falling from the sky???

Managed to get in tons of walking and my LSD on Sunday but really missed my 'regular' run schedule.

Will get in 10K sometime today.

Yesterday as TM hill at noon --4 miles and a evening 8 miles at marathon pace minus 10 seconds.

Today will be another double, 6 mile at noon, likley outside, wil depend onwhat I see when I get out -my office is in the basement of our office building, and then 6-10 miles after work.

School buses cancelled today due to fog so the kids are at home. Wish I was too.

Due to a houseguest (and part due to my laziness) - I skipped out on my run class last night - ah well!

just got back in from a great 5.65k run at lunch in just shy of 35min - 6:11min/km avg - 4 degrees out - beautiful! I forgotten how great it is to get out there at lunchtime!

Tonight - spin class at Tri-it. should be good and painful.

1750m in the pool at lunch, the shoulder held up well for the 8 x 50m set - so I am happy with that.

90 minutes on the bike trainer tonght - need to find a movie that I haven't watched too many times to amuse myself while I spin.

Hope everyone is having a great day,

Pulled a muscle in my left scapula doing weights this morning. Too sore to run, but managed a 3 mile speed walk on 10% incline. Then called it. ATD

Supposed to run Hills & Drills tonight, but due to the impending explosion of my sinuses, I'm skipping out. Guess I'll have to watch hockey instead.

I think I'm at the tail end of this cold, so I should be back out there helping the beginners tomorrow.

Heading out to the gym now.
On the menu: 25 minutes elliptical + 10K + TM restart before it forces me to cool down at one hour + 6K + stretching.
That's the plan and I'm sticking to it. :D
