Whew!

Honestly, it didn't seem too far fetched!

That lowered my BQ time by 10 minutes! I'm fully expecting them to do that soon.

Figure they will give a couple of year's notice though!

Love it !

I had it figured out early from the URl.

I just sent it around to my running group. Gotta be lots of less careful readers among them !

On the flip side...in a work place, if both species are doing the same job, then they should get paid the same, and yes am a big advocate of that.

We talk about equality all the time, but it seems to be only when it suits an agenda for a specific thing.

What says you?

I don't think species was the word you were looking for.

I often think men are a different species. :P

You mean to say that we aren't? :?: Well - to paraphrase a recent TV ad - I have been grossly misinformed!!!!!

I did look that up and the "rules" said must have run the new time in qualifying.

As I was reading this I was praying it was an April foools joke... seriously I almost started crying.
I think the BAA went too far, playing with my emotions like that.

Anne- I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the BAA that did this-- just a jokester who copied the page and modified the HTML. If you notice, none of the links actually work.

It's funny because I had a feeling this was April Fools as soon as I read it, but was not !00% sure because the new times look so realistic to what they might do. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a switch soon, but there would be more lead time than 6 months before registration, I would hope.

In the legal letter posted, I find the use of , Esq. after the writer's name strange. Does this mean this person has no legal certification but feels they are of a high social class? So while not a lawyer or legal secretary, this person is advising they may have been born to a Knight?

Hmm...I believed it since it makes sense. Not good for those who are trying to BQ -- e.g., panic to alter one's training... Glad it's not true :)
