What a day! Despite spending the last 3 hours at CHEO with IronToddler who has croup again, I'm still coming down from the high of this morning's event.

Thank you everyone of showing up and putting your best foot forward. The weather was okay. A bit muggy, but not HOT thanks to the clouds and light rain.

I was so giddy, I could hardly contain myself. Once the race started, I went to the car to get more water, and I saw all the cars, I felt so happy. All those people were here and presumably having fun, because of me. It was even more gratifying than pacing the Army run. (and that's saying a lot!!!)

I can't thank IronDaughter enough, she put so much effort in to making medals and preparing the race bibs.

I got to see Jacob, who I hadn't seen in ages and JFRunner too, seems like it's been forever since I last saw him. uRun2 too. Clearly we don't meet and greet enough.

I got to meet SteveF and starflower, and MikeM for more than 2 seconds on a race course!

I need to thank Irongirl. Although I had no need or desire to do this on my own, I guess she feared she'd take over the whole thing if she got involved, and so I was left to sink or swim all on my own. She did come through with a ton of last minute logistical stuff (like bibs and timing). Thanks babe.

Thanks to everyone. I'm so happy it didn't suck.

See you all on June 25th 2011. Mark your calendars!

As I did at the event, I feel I must also here.

THANK YOU Lovethehills and Lulu Lemon, JLA and iRun magazine, Marg and Andy.

The prizes were awesome, I think everybody got something.

It was great. Thank you a million times over.
